Not really a factor. This happens with basically every discipline, women just have lower uptake and interest, so who's going to train that?

You also ignore that the police only police what they can afford, they're merely hired thugs operating under the government's orders. Whether this is good or bad entirely depends on how much you agree with the moral code of your government.

If you're in a poor area, you can't pay the police to do rounds in your area. If your government decides you don't deserve protection then you don't get it, regardless of how much tax you pay them. This is a very unfree position, at least without a government you can decide what you need and what you don't.

There would be private police forces, considering the current force would be out of work. You get people exploiting vulnerabilities only if you leave yourself vulnerable. Without a hit to your taxes, you can actively ensure these vulnerabilities are closed and unnecessary expenditure doesn't take place.

When the police were first established in the UK, the public actively beat the living daylights out of cops. People were using private business to protect their interests and had no interest in getting robbed to pay people to snoop in their business. Our laws come about from a shared will to be civil with eachother by establishing boundaries, the government has no use here beyond noting what we do and do not want to be done.

Let's also note that I'm not even arguing for dissolution of government, merely that your claim that governement makes people free is so insane it looks like a direct quote from 1984.

Even back in the old days people lived behind castle walls for a reason. They didn't sit out in the woods and go, "sure is great to be free from all taxes!"

People paid fees to the Earl, Duke and King for the land they weren't free to use and higher ones to live inside the walls. Farmers were still susceptible to raiding, but at least they could hire proper protection of their property.

Not really a problem if you operate on renewables/nuclear.

It's decidedly less of a problem, sure, but that doesn't mean it's not worth avoiding. The more energy you use, the more production capacity you need, meaning the more production capacity has to be built. Even renewable energy sources have a substantial impact on the environment when they're being built, from the clearing of the required land, the operation of the construction vehicles, and the process of procuring the raw materials.

In practice, of course, recycling is a relatively tiny component of all of a region's energy usage, so it's unlikely that it will personally require production capacity to be expanded. It's still not a zero cost, though, so if it can be avoided (by not producing the waste in the first place), it should be.

We can't avoid switching anyway, recycling is just further justification to do the necessary. We can shut down recycling plants as our habits change to being less wasteful and divert the excess power to things like water desalination.

I love that one of the main arguments from people in love with the second amendment is that it keeps things from turning into a police state.

Meanwhile, they support literally putting armed guards everywhere to stop gun violence and endorse this unnecessary invasion of privacy.

Fairly sure they endorse teachers practicing their second amendment rights and properly executing their obligation to protect their students.

Typically the second amendment types are generally "muh rights" types.
