Ah. Thats lame. They were limited time only items in my area and then disappeared. Havent seen them anywhere since, including in other states.

Yeah they also vanished from my home state. In 2016/early 2017 they were in still in Colorado. In early 2018 I found them again in Arizona. They tend to not sell regular McChickens along-side them.

I owned a Firebird Formula in red years ago and topped it out a 260mph more than a few times. It was a rarer model because it didn't have the t-tops, was a formula I suppose. The only other modification was a catback magnaflow system so the LT1 would rumble like crazy.

When you own a car like that middle age men give you dirty looks because they're pissed that a guy just like you probably swept in and took their highschool sweet heart years ago, also they're still stuck in their shit ass econobox and balding/fat. Also you get a lot of people trying to race randomly on the street- which isn't great if you don't want to die/and want a clean driving record.

Some younger women will throw themselves at you if you don't look like an actual pile of shit and you're around their age. Who knows, maybe they will regardless? If you have a high need for attention it might be worth it. People will approach you and try to talk cars with you all of the time, random people on the streets will try to get you to burn out and other dumb shit.

I'm older now and don't feel like risking my life for a little bit of adrenaline. It's weird how fast I fell out of caring about any of that shit. My next car will probably be a Prius.

All that said a lot of cars go faster that look more low key in the current year. What did you get?

People might feel a moral imperative to not eat meat- for example, or perhaps they might find some personal ethical reasoning to not drink alcohol or participate in something else. When people claim that something is not within their capability because of religious reasons it's dropped almost immediately out of respect. If the same situation is encountered and someone declines because of their own personal ethical/moral imperatives or inclinations they are often met with a rebuttal and challenged by a person or group.

Shouldn't these two hold the same weight? Both are constructed as a means to help guide people through life or whatever, yet because of niceties and standards religious imperatives often can not be challenged as it would be disrespectful.

Anyways at the risk of saying the obvious above...

Should 'it's against my ethics' hold as much weight as 'it's against my religion'? Should both be allowed to be challenged without the risk of appearing to violate a norm? Should niceties be afforded to those who abstain from something outside of religious reasoning instead (mind your own business, etc)?

Have you ever been met with a rebuttal or challenge because you've plainly stated that you abstain from something (in person)?

One of the most recent incidents was at a North Carolina convenience store called Sheetz. Reddit user Leicina posted her account of several pickup-trucks pulling in to block all the Tesla supercharging stations spots.

Ive never had a supercharging experience like this one, she wrote. These trucks blocked all the chargers, chanted F Tesla, and were kicked out by a Sheetz employee.

Japan confirms it will quit IWC to resume commercial whaling

Japan is to leave the International Whaling Commission and resume commercial whaling for the first time in more than 30 years, the government said on Wednesday, in a move that has drawn international criticism.
