It's mostly an above average game that has strengths in characters and building levels of empathy (granted for most... all... of the side characters it through complete manipulation. It's like each time they try to do something that should be done in like episode 4 of a tv show in episode 1). It also has a competent story? It's just I don't know, not as clever as I think people make it out to be. Game play is average at best and subpar normally. I found myself enjoying talking to the monsters and such, but didn't really care for the progression of the game.

It's one of the cheapest popular decks, right? Only really has one legendary needed.

It is a relatively cheap deck yeah. But like after rank 5 it seems the rate of which i see it is a lot lower.

Right now I only use prime for subbing and Navioot has it for now.

As for watching people play it depends on what I want. Usually if I want to watch someone play meta decks I'll look at like Zalae (who streams a ton now) or sometimes Justsaiyan. If I want to see some maybe experimental stuff but someone whose making it work very well I'd watch Dog (who I think is only being held back by his like lack of sleep). I also like watching Amaz exclusively for his reactions when stuff happens but I'm not on when he streams typically. Lilypichu (of LoL fame) has started playing recently since Toast moved into the Offlinetv house... and for a bit watching her play was like like watching the wonder of a new player to the game. But now she's full of salt... and that's great in a completely different way.

8/9 classes done, stuck on mage of all classes. I had a great giant/rod of summoning deck, but I still ended up losing due to bad draws. Lots of fun though, I especially like building a chaos mage deck, even if it's probably not a great dungeon run deck.

i beat it by picking like every chaos deck pack lol. One of them I got like 2 Deck of wonders or something and i played both of them and they got me more deck of wonders. And like the final boss got it from the weapon that gives him a mage spell and he got another one from the deck. It was amazing.

As a control warlock player, I find the people bitching about Corridor Patches hilarious. Bonemare/Scalebane/Doomguard/Leeroy was much harder to deal with than a deck that jobs to a single Defile and a spellstone.

I find it hilarious that you're trying to undermine the power of corridor and patches with your level of skill and insight on the game.

Current priest list I'm running. Currently 4 stars into rank 4. I've played about 15 IMO the deck might be too strong as the only real deck that gives me significant issues are spell hunters (probably the worst matchup) and kingsblade rogues. Secret mages that don't run aluneth can also be a problem, but the ones that do almost always deck themselves before they can actually kill me. Traditional non dragon priests (running Velen/Mind Blast) are also problematic because my deck trades the burst for longer value. Cards like Duskbreaker just gives me another clear versus aggro and psychic scream almost single handily gives me an edge against jade. Twilight Acolyte is just icing on the cake. I've played 16 games with the deck (between ranks up to where I am now in Rank 4) and my record is 13-3 with it atm.

It depends what you mean by impact because that's hard to measure.

Akira is often credited for legitimizing the medium in the west. It paved the way for releases of the likes of GitS. However, I'll be honest I don't know what kind of impact it had for the actual industry in the way something like the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya did in that her show basically started a trend of Light Novel Adaptations (although you could argue this was an inevitable). Her show was not even the first to do it, just the first one who built up massive acclaim.

But like Haruhi another show in Evangelion is atm not that well known in the west outside of actual anime fans (or people on the internet who know people who like anime). But to its credit several modern character archetypes are based on Evangelion characters (even if they were not the first one to do it. Their versions are pretty obviously the go to). It's interesting because like Haruhi (who played with common comedic mediums and school anime tropes to make a great show), Evangelion did the same thing with serious topics and the mecha genre.

As far as things being mainstream go it's most likely DBZ is probably the go to answer as it's still reasonably popular here, but from what I understand Japan is kind of over it (like 10 years ago), because they are in a love live phase now.

If you want to go by like a franchise then it's pokemon. Like, that's not even a debate imo. But the anime is just one small part in an empire that was worth like 1/6 the GDP of Japan... over 10 years ago.

Like as far as real influence goes something like K-On (2009) might be as far back as I'm willing to go. Anything else is too new to really grasp the lasting effects and if I'm honest I might even dial that back to Haruhi (2006). Also Haruism is a religion in like the same way Jedi is... so there's that.

I have to say. Control warlock is not going to be a thing until Raza rotates out. Well maybe even after. Like I had a game versus the new control warlock and on turn 5 he ratted out Raza (1 in 3). AND I STILL WON. I mean I was lucky that he didnt get Guldan until a bit late, but he was also lucky he got raza out. He also tapped A LOT. And I'm thinking "What are you doing?" Because I was like purposely not using any of my draw cards and like had psychic scream in my hand and was like "well I can never use this". He was like +5 into fatigue on me.

It should be one or the other because it would split votes. But I do agree generally that in this case I think all of the gems are voiced by females.

Where do the gems in Land of the Lustrous fall into? They typically use masculine pronouns when addressing each other, but I'd say based on actions and other factors I'd say more people would associate female qualities to them. Although officially they don't seem to have actual genders.

I beat the dungeon with mage again. THis time I drafted a mage full of random spell generation and got the quest like on my first set and Antonidas somewhere in the middle. Got Azari as my boss and managed to kill him because well, he's pretty good at killing himself for me.

This is the dragon raza package I tossed together. Dont really know if I should change anything. Seems to do well. Ive been thinking about cutting the curator package (crawler, wasp, coldlight, curator) for the basic acolyte, pyro (+pint size horror). But not sure on that.

I just beat it with all 9 classes. I'd say like besides Paladin and Priest (which are harder) and warrior (which is the hardest) all other classes are fairly close.

For warrior I got togwaggle and like fatigued him. It was incredible.

lmfao just had a game. Im playign raza priest and my aggro druid opponent of course has living mana on 5 AND 6. Like I clear the first time but i dont have it for the second one.

So I have like 7 mana. I play lyra, Radiant, and PWS. I Get the following spells in this order - > PoM (from the draw), Holy Smite, Silence, Binding Heal, Silence, Pom, Purify.
