Probably a bad idea to point a finger at any single person for however you feel about these movies though. I think the problem people have is that they believe Kennedy had the power to stop a lot of these problems, and her track record makes it seem like she should have known to stop these problems from happening. (not having a full plan for the trilogy, putting so much faith in directors to write star wars scripts, etc. etc.) But like, we don't *really* know how much was going on behind the scenes. She was probably under tremendous pressure from Disney to just get it done, or could have mistakenly believed that most people would just eat up anything Star Wars if it had real sets and practical effects. --- If ass isn't meant to be ate, why did God stick it between two buns? |

She wasn't that with those films I believe. I feel like Kennedy gets too much crap from one side of this and gets way too little crap from the other side. She deserves criticism for putting so much faith into Rian Johnson IMO. She deserves criticism for creating the Star Wars Story Group too. I don't believe she deserves much criticism for problems people have with TROS because it sounds like JJ Abrams getting carte blanche was Disney decision and not a Lucasfilm decision, but maybe that isn't true and it was her call. --- If ass isn't meant to be ate, why did God stick it between two buns? |

It wasn't as if the Jedi were unknown though. Luke knew of them, and he spent his life on a backwater. Han knew of them but simply didn't put much belief in their beliefs, which is perfectly normal for someone who was alive when the Jedi were basically wiped out by a bunch of soldiers.
