Don't let them lock you down like tc though. Even if you pay less in rent to move in, you will probably end spending more with the girl. It really depends. Do you want to give up your freedom? That's a big deal, someone in your space all the time. Honestly in my experience, the main benefit to living together is you get to have sex a lot. If you've never lived with a girl, it's a good experience to learn from. Usually the relationship dies off after about 2 years, unless you're special and really care about each other. But that time you've done everything every which way etc. You know how you feel about each other. If you do it, only sign on a 6 month trial lease. And have a backup plan, plus have her stay with you everyday for two weeks before you do it. Get a feel for it, see how much you like her after she takes a dump or if she syarts nagging after a week. Make sure she sincerely respects you, if you've seen some red flags in back of your mind, listen. You don't owe her anything. |

And it made me tougher and taught me to appreciate things more. In short, it was the best thing that could have happened for us. And we worked our way up to upper middle class and that's the American dream. Hockey, if you Give people the American dream, they won't love it or understand it as well as if they earned it themselves. People like yourself mean well and think you are helping, but you really aren't. There is a natural order where people must be taught to fend for themselves, that is necessary for self respect as a human. Do you see all these fat, unhappy people on painkillers and government assistance. That is BECAUSE they have no self worth because they know they rely on something else for their survival and they are dependent. It's not psychologically a good thing, sir. Dependence on government is probably one of the Worst things for a citizen. Especially if the government Wants you to be down and weak so you'll vote for them.
