Ahhhh yes now the internet begins to understand. This movie is just a goofy as BvS with its shockingly similar plot. Both are good. But everyone turns inside out killing BvS and it's almost literally the same movie as civil war except with an optimistic ending.

I don't think we watched the same show. Acting generals called each other tampons, they hired people from craigslist to be astronauts like 1 week later, and a monkey performs a spacewalk repair on a satellite.

It felt forced and clunky. Too absurd to be taken seriously, probably could've worked a lot better with a more grounded tone.

BTW just read between the lines how hateful the people in this thread are while defending the sword wielder, it is suspected he isnt even the owner of the business, so that means he was there to antagonise or look for a fight. the business owner must have his business insured to even operate, if he gets robbed then his stuff will be replaced. even if his property was at risk if you want to kill someone and take someones life for a few hundred dollars you can't revive a dead body. that's why these guys defending the sword wielder are so hateful, they know all of these facts but still adamant about their stance, just come out and say it dude "i hate black people" because that's what you are really saying when you defend the sword wielder.

There was, but I think Fiegs initial comments exacerbated the issue. Were still feeling the impacts of this whole fiasco today. Nobody can just make a mainstream female fronted movie anymore without a legion of trolls deriding it for pushing a SJW agenda.

Yes, the misogynistic responses to the movie were and still are absolutely disgusting, but at the end of the day, they made a mediocre reboot of a beloved film that nobody particularly wanted. I'd like to see them eventually just take some of the blame for that.
