They have a history of cheaping out once a show gets too big. I've seen people thinking that maybe Henry didn't like the direction the show was going, and turning way too far from the books. Apparently there are writers for the show who hate the books/games, so it wouldn't surprise me if that is what Witcher was something he really wanted to do, and was something of a dream role for him, so I find it odd he would just up and leave after three seasons.
