reddit is worse than gamefaqs imoReddit is probably one of the saddest excuse of social media online. It's only used because there are a lot of people and those people are too lazy to create community run forums. The only worst place for meaningful discussion is discord because it's not indexable and overrun by memes and frog posters. GameFAQs is bad because of the disgusting amount of low quality posting. I mean it's low quality trolling puts even reddit to shame. I spend a large amount of my day (sadly) trolling /r/runescape and I know others who also spend a large mount of their day trolling /r/runescape and even then that manages to be higher quality trolling than the average politics shitposter does on GameFAQs. --- Software Architect / Code Janitor / Professional Sheep Herder |

Not really any other options and the coming season looks equally as dead. Season 4 is going to be a very toxic Mami-focused season from what I hear, but things are apparently getting better in the current Manga arc. There may not even be an anime of the season for me in this coming season as I'm not super excited for anything except for Hoshikuzu Telepath which sounds like it will be an ok Yuri comedy.

If you haven't read either Shimeji Simulation or Girl's Last Tour they are both crazy good surreal comedies. Hopefully Shimeji gets an anime adaptation so more people can find the joy I did in its extremely deep characterization of human nature.

I really tuned out to video games at the time and even now I'm just barely holding on. Even Trails burned its bridge for me after I saw Kuro/Daybreak's combat changes (which are probably still good, they're just not for me).

School can be hardSchool is not hard, it's pointless/boring. The most important class that pertains to what I do day to day (Operating systems) I slept through because the content was boring and ended up getting a C in. At the time I was a bit of an ass and one point the professor made a mistake when speaking (his information was a few years out of date with modern CPU design), I corrected him and the next class he added more content about what I had pointed out to his lecture. That professor was great (gave me a recommendation to my first job) but that didn't stop me from sleeping through every one of his classes (frequently being in the front row) because I worked 30 hours a week while taking 20 credit hours per semester. --- Software Architect / Code Janitor / Professional Sheep Herder |
