I just want to play Master Duel to mess around with the vtuber archtype by playing against actual players and not bots (even if the archtype is super mediocre).

And as a result customer service will go into the dumpster and people will not go to those stores anymore.
They're actually taking the opposite direction of what should be happening. Ordering online is easy, stores exist mainly for the customer service aspect.
When I worked in a grocery store (this was a decade ago) I always enjoyed talking to some of our (mainly elderly) regulars.

If someone leaves a cart in the parking lot, another customer will bring it back to get that quarter.

Grocery stores here do not hire carriage collectors. They have idle workers deal with the carriages, usually cashiers / baggers.

But Aldi doesn't have baggers

There are actually two Aldis, Aldi Nord and Aldi Sd. They split up in 1960. The stores called Aldi in the US are owned by Aldi Sd. Aldi Nord has stores in the US as well, but they're called Trader Joes.

It's similar to Amazon prime. I may use Amazon 1-2 times a year so the subscription itself makes no sense based on how I buy product.

I have never, nor will ever have a Netflix subscription. It makes no sense based on how I consume media.

This is a good example of how Europe differs from the US. Same experiences here as Zeus, and I've been to an Aldi a few times myself. Their whole thing doesn't really make sense compared to even a Walmart.
