same thing with the console the console is specifically designed to run a game a certain way only since microsoft and playstation entered gaming do people think consoles are p.c.s because they have floppy disk and have trouble running games at fixed frame rates/not catching on fire

I could have gone in on Bitcoin back in 2010 but I choose not to. Biggest mistake I ever made. Same thing with Eth. Could have gone in on Eth last year but I choose not to.

Can't someone just buy an SNES mini, rip the file system from it and just flash it onto a Raspberry Pi or similar? That's all the NES Mini was and reverse engineering of hardware is completely legal under the DMCA.

You are literally buying a computer with ROMs and an emulator preloaded on it which can be run on any system with an ARM (iirc) compatible emulator.

Bonus points if you have an Allwinner R16 SoC. You can probably just rip the whole file system and flash it onto whatever board you have.

I have several similarly specced projected boards, including one that comes with a 12 inch LCD touchscreen.
