I'm not necessarily a proponent of that argument I presented, just recognizing it as a point some may make. And therein lies the crux of the matter: if the only legitimate gripe about May-December relationships is that the older party may take advantage of the younger party-- that ethical faux pas applies to all relationships. It's essentially a strawman. |

If the older partner is not truly invested in the relationship, however, and is using their experience to woo or dupe the younger partner, that's when morality comes into play. |

Every time a strong person shows up, people want to know "when is protagonist going to be strong enough to beat up this person." It's even worse with Beerus because we already know there are tiers of power far beyond him. The angels, then the Grand Priest, and finally Zeno himself. It would be more interesting for them to roll with the obvious--Beerus has been surpassed by Goku-- to explore further the relationship between the two and see Beerus actually have to try to reclaim his superior status. It's not like a mortal being stronger than their god is disallowed. It was made abundantly clear by Jiren's own God of Destruction that Jiren was above him. Beerus remaining unsurpassed is dumb and contradictory to everything we've seen |

Super-suppressed Jiren elicited a shocked "Is this really the energy from just one warrior?!" comment from Beerus just by flexing in preparation for his battle against Goku. Whis stated in the past that Beerus has not mastered Ultra Instinct. Goku attained MUI and then Jiren powered up to match him. All the Gods of Destruction stood in amazement, because these mortals surpassed them. But nooo... Beerus is still "untouchable" for plot reasons. It's fucking dumb. |

(So 180, 270, 360, 450, etc.) After five reps of 900, I managed one rep at 1,000. Then I dropped the weight to 500 lbs and did a total of 100 reps (six sets of ten, then eight sets of five). Finally, a cooldown set of 100 reps at 100 lbs. (Got a Charley horse in my right thigh about 3/4 through, that was fun). My legs almost gave out when I was standing, before the workout was even over. They're sore today but I'm sure tomorrow is going to suck. |
