since i got out of treatment i've been a lot more tolerant of insects i don't like and lizards. stuff like that. so i may not mind them that much now as long as they don't land on me.

Sounds like behaviour from living as a stray where if you don't fight for your food you don't get to eat, it's pretty sad.

I could deal with the food aggression just by feeding them in different areas. I started just feeding her in her crate and Ernie in his normal area and not leaving any food out so they couldn't scuttle around to fight. It was mostly the terrorizing of the cat that I couldn't keep allowing.

Yeah, if a woman is wailing on you I don't see why you should hit or push her back. Women don't get a free pass to beat on a man just because they're women.
