You should also pay attention to VRAM. Their are settings the 16gig 5060ti can handle no probable but the 8gb will stutter like mad at. Also AMDs 90xx series are more competitive with NVIDIA 50xx series then previous generations. I'd still buy NVIDIA at the same price, but I'd go with AMD's 9060xt 16gb if it's the only 16gb card you can buy.

I think they'll call it Xbox 12 as it'll come with Windows 12.

To be fair Intel's kinda changed what the numbers represent. Make then i3 was the lower end, i5 the mid-range, and i7 the upper. They've changed from the i(no.) brand but just before changing from it the i5 was lower end, i7 the mid range and i9 the upper range. edit: It's also a very old i7, more recent i5s probably kick it's butt.

Any these days AMD is usually recommend for the CPUs, especially for gaming. I believe the B850 or B650 motherboards are usually recommended for them.

I don't know much about Japanese (obviously) but I know that in Korean they took a lot of words from Chinese, took out the tone, and suddenly you have four or more words that are all spelled exactly the same and sound exactly the same but mean completely different things. Meanwhile in Chinese they all sound completely different because they have different tones, and they're written with completely different characters.

Can you give some examples of this? Because even if you are borrowing words pronounced the same in a language into another language does not mean they are pronounced the same in the second language. The word "strike" (as in baseball) and "strike" (as in what unions do) are both pronounced, and spelt differently in Japanese ("" for baseball and "" for unions) even though they are both derived from English words with the same spelling and pronunciation. I was under the impression that something similar happened with Korean words borrowed from Chinese.

It just baffles me that the Japanese will spend like 20 years learning all kanji ever while they've already had hiragana and katakana for centuries, and while the Koreans have had an alphabet for 500 years or so that can literally be learned in about an hour. Koreans learn a few hanja characters but there's like 10 of them and it's like using a dollar sign or a # for them.

To be fair Japanese has way, way more homophones then Korean.

I don't know how to describe this, but they changed the placement of where you can swipe down or up to either search for something or see your notifications.

You can change this in "QuickStar" if the download "Good Lock" from the "Samsung Store". It's right at the bottom of QuickStar in a section called "Adjust separated panel ratio"

You're 28 years old, you have a young family, you live in the north or in scotland, you earn 28k a year. You have to drive to get to work. What is the plan once you can't buy a car for 5k, 8k, 12k? The only option left is to buy a 30k electric car on finance (40k after interest)? And that lasts maybe 10 years and you need to buy another one?

I only see this resulting in yet another massive migration of wealth away from the poor to the rich.

There's no evidence that Electric Cars only last 10 years, given that used ICE cars will continue to be sold beyond that dates, there's no evidence we are going to have a drop . Furthermore you can already buy used electric cars for under 10k in the UK. What's needed in that specific regard, is a policy for rating how the battery has deteriorated over the time, and the government was claimed to working on that. Obviously infrastructure is still a big issue that needs solved.

Atlus didn't publish games in the EU at that point, and the only company that was willingly to do so didn't have the only to pay for the license for Nocturne, from Terminal Reality the developers of the 1999 PC survival horror game Nocturne, so they had to give it another name. Of course that doesn't explain why "Shin Megami Tensei 3" wasn't a valid option.

Unfortunately, that card is about the same price as a 5070ti on sale here. Maybe slightly cheaper on average, but still another 200 more than the card I have, which is quite a bit still. I agree that Nvidia is a shitty company, though.

Aren't you in the UK? Overclockers have 9070xts for 630, which is still a fair bit more then a 5070 but not 200 more.

My monitor has a 75hz refresh rate. Think I should be capping my FPS to just slightly above that? I've read that you can get screen tearing otherwise.

If you have a variable refresh rate monitor you won't get any screen tearing, as long as variable refresh rate is working.

That's not at all the reason HS2 is being built, it's being built because more trains need to run London and Birmingham and the current tracks can't safely handle any more trains.

You realise that theses two statements contract each other, right? The vast majority of people live in densely populated areas, that's a big part of why they are so densely populated. Furthermore the vast majority of miles traveled, in the US are locally, followed by regionally. If the US had good quality local public transport and shit national public transport, it would still be a giant improvement over what they actually had.

I should add that on Samsung's version if you go to the recent apps view you can press on the apps icon and select open in split screen view.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean but on Firefox Android you can go into the app settings and click "customise" and turn on "swipe address bar sideways to switch tabs" which is similar to what you describe.

How so? You look at what time your school/work/whatever starts, and go there for that time. If your school/work has specified lunch hours you look at those, and use those. You don't need to care what bit about what time, people in completely different parts of the country are doing their stuff.

You got the effect of the bubble mixed up. Cadmium makes a bubble that slows time around you, and makes everything outside the bubble effectively faster relative to you, a bullet entering the bubble is less dangerous then one outside. Bendalloy makes a bubble that speeds time up around you, and makes everything outside the bubble effectively faster relative to you, a bullet entering the bubble is more dangerous inside then one outside.

A decent chunk of CRPGs have that, like Baldur's Gate.

Berserk isn't randomly attacks friend or foe in that game. It's attack the nearest creature, which is still annoying, but not to the level of attack random characters.

You've got your classic Charm/Dominate Person that gives the computer direct control of a squaddie, then there's a Confusion effect that has people just start swinging at random, friend or foe. I'm not sure if they use spells or items while effected with the latter, though.

Yeah, but they don't give you the power boost of berserk.

It's not like you have to watch or listen to the video in one sitting. Youtube remembers where you left off on a video, or within 15 seconds of where you left off. Or you could open videos in new tabs and pause them when you're not planning to watch or listen to them.

It's supposed to, but I've defiantly had times that doesn't work, or times it tells me I've never watched, when I know for a fact I have.
