Apparently the person who was doing it before me got burnt out. As far as the permitting thing goes, theres been an ongoing argument between departments on who would be taking over the duty. Ultimately it fell back to the Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator position was way more office time than was advertised and the position calls for me to have about 2, one hour meetings every day between the different divisions of the department. I hate working in an office and that is over my tolerance threshold for meetings.

They also failed to mention in the job description that I am expected to handle permitting for all of the outside entities that want to rent park space for their events.

Got my business cards in and saw that it said Volunteer and Permitting Coordinator and thats where I pumped the brakes. The position pays more but the lack of fulfillment is not worth it.

Disappointed to say the least. Big bummer.

On the bright side, the library is happy Im coming back.

Im looking for something of good quality that could be heard pretty well throughout a large pool deck for a party. I would prefer to spend less than $200 but have no idea if thats feasible with what Im asking for.

Yeah I would say it is if we dont count Pokeballs as weapons.

One and two are Master and Buster Sword but I can only guess after that and the order Im not confident in.

If you count Samus and Megamans arms as weapons, put them at 3 and 4 and move everything else down.

Of course not. There are gripes Im sure people can find with the game and theres demographics who this game most certainly doesnt appeal to.

But a lot of people like to leave bad reviews on popular games just to be a troll. There are also people who generally dislike popular things. Some are are faking it, some are genuinely wired that way.

To counter that though, Hiei couldn't stay in that form for very long. Younger Toguro I would assume is stronger by a significant margin than Bui. I don't think hiei could absolutely demolish him like he could bui, and if he can't do that, there's no way he wins a drawn out battle. I think he could push toguro but not beat him.

I dunno, I think this could have been a thing. Hiei didn't really get to show off in that form. Going to file that under "who knows?" He was strong enough not just to beat one of his trusted lieutenants, but annihilate him so fast it was clear he was on a whole nother level. What level was that? Unclear.

Alluding to avoidant personality disorder. It's a little like impostor syndrome, but also extending it to relationships. And similarly there's a very strong root in anxiety and past experiences causing and compounding it.

William Somerville has always been a good student. In high school and college, he looked forward to taking tests and writing papers objective measures of success gave him a chance to prove himself.

But as a PhD student in clinical psychology at The New School in New York City, he began to doubt his abilities. Now he wasn't just studying to make the grade, but actually leading therapy sessions with patients in a hospital psychiatric unit.

"I felt, what gives me the right to be here?" he says.

In those moments, he says, he didn't just feel he was lacking certain skills. He wondered whether he belonged there at all. "There's a sense of being thrown into the deep end of the pool and needing to learn to swim," he says. "But I wasn't just questioning whether I could survive. In a fundamental way, I was asking, Am I a swimmer?'"

In retrospect, Somerville realized that he was experiencing typical feelings of the impostor phenomenon. First described by psychologists Suzanne Imes, PhD, and Pauline Rose Clance, PhD, in the 1970s, impostor phenomenon occurs among high achievers who are unable to internalize and accept their success. They often attribute their accomplishments to luck rather than to ability, and fear that others will eventually unmask them as a fraud.

Though the impostor phenomenon isn't an official diagnosis listed in the DSM, psychologists and others acknowledge that it is a very real and specific form of intellectual self-doubt. Impostor feelings are generally accompanied by anxiety and, often, depression.

By definition, most people with impostor feelings suffer in silence, says Imes, a clinical psychologist in private practice in Georgia. "Most people don't talk about it. Part of the experience is that they're afraid they're going to be found out," she says.

With my recent job offer I've been thinking about this again. Every time I've moved up in my career I felt this way for the first few weeks and I've also had this numerous times in the past with really great girlfriends I had.
