It's one thing to say, "Oh well there's a lot of celebrations involved this season, Google should mention Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings" --- (they most certainly did that in this case!)

But it's another thing to exclude the references of Christmas entirely, especially when involving a character associated with the Christmas holiday.

Someone or some entity obviously cared enough to not even mention the phrase Merry Christmas while including characters associated with Christmas.

If you'll read previous posts, it's not even about including people. The five star "inclusive" phrases were already included----Seasons Greetings, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year and Let it snow. Does including Merry Christmas as well exclude anyone to you? Is it that hard to say? Is it that offensive to include?

Why was it not included when Santa represents Christmas? Why would, in this instance, including "Merry Christmas" exclude people or not include people given the previous "holiday" wishes?

I mean, the whole whining over "Merry Christmas" vs "Happy Holidays" in general is a bit silly, but you'd think that if they're worried about "Christmas" offending people, they'd also ditch Santa - a character exclusively associated with Christmas.

It seems a bit weird to ditch one but not the other, so I suspect this wasn't an intentional decision but just that the chosen designs happened to not have that phrase. When there's only a handful of designs, that's not overly unlikely.

It's pretty unlikely and pretty telling. Imagine having all these little games, but nothing referencing Christmas or "Merry Christmas". And then to go as far as creating your own Santa postcard, but the only options you have to choose have nothing to do with Christmas.

There's no simple oversight about this. It has to be intentional.

It seems his investigation is wrapping up, too. Thank god. So people on the "Impeach Trump" side for meddling, conspiracy, collusion, whatever, better be praying Mueller pulls something out of left field.
