I was more curious if people thought the democrats need to try to become more like conservatives or more like social democrats or if they should stay exactly where they are as neoliberals

They should probably stay the same. Hillary would have won if Trump didn't successfully run. I don't believe Cruz or Ted could have won WI, PA and MI.

But then that brings us back to the conundrum, because Trump allegedly will be running again.

I used to be against death row due to the costs, but then I realized in many cases, death row inmates are housed separately and have far less privileges than lifers. People serving life can gain access to televisions, social interactions with other inmates, playing games together, finding work and ways to occupy their time, etc. I don't think that's necessarily justice for some people. Some people should be locked away in confinement to suffer for what they did.

Death penalty should be reserved for cases that are blatantly obvious and unquestionable of guilt. Because our justice system still does get things wrong sometimes.

They're all pretty bad. Even the expensive ones.

Private care is the best you could hope for if it came down to that, but even then there are many cases of abuse. And private care is extremely expensive.

This a pretty reasonable answer. It would definitely be shit show.

Trump won't get impeached with Republican Senate control. I guess the only reason certain Democrats are running on the impeachment platform is to gain momentum and turn out voters, but it's a false hope.

She's been charged with 6 misdemeanors and could face up to 3 and a half years if convicted on all. I kind of feel bad for her, apparently students say she was a nice teacher and this was out of the ordinary.

Do you believe that if you are against the current admin that the only means to resolve the issue is to kill government elected officials?

We have an entire system designed to eliminate the necessity for a violent overthrow of an unpopular administration, and it works. In fact, we are currently about to enter the beginning-game of removing this current administration.

What are you laughing about? The fact that Trump is facing many criminal charges sooner than later is pretty funny, I'll give you that.

So @Houston, what was so funny again? Have you been paying attention to the news at all? It's pretty clear Trump is guilty of what he has been investigated for, and much more actually.

The investigation was intended to show that Trump colluded with Russia government to sway the outcome of the election. We don't see that here.

Ok, that's fine. I care about what the constitution ended up saying. My argument was regarding the constitution and what it says. It was decided there would be a second amendment. It was also decided the constitution would be difficult to change.

It's apparently what they collectively intended if that is the final written product
