Thanks, this really helped. We really do love this chunker. I guess we never really thought we could lose him so soon as hes only 3, so being presented with his possible mortality hit us like a truck. Were really happy to have him back home. The vets really did a good job treating him and keeping us updated.

I cant calm down completely yet. Im watching him take a nap and still cant fully grasp whatever the fuck happened.
Driving him to the hospital was one of the worst things Ive been through. I honestly thought he was going to die in the car. We were basically saying our goodbyes and telling him how much we loved him. Im not even hungry or tired even though I havent eaten today and got very little sleep.
