i definitely get that. My wife has the week off and she was really looking forward to that but now were taking turns staying up all night cause were terrified of something happening while were asleep.
pets are absolutely part of a family. This little guy has made us really happy and we can only hope weve made him just as happy.

My coworker recently found out that his six year old dog had some form of olfactory cancer that caused her to be extremely restless, and then she started sneezing blood. Too deep for excision, so the only options are radio/chemo treatment, or euthanasia.

Hes a German spitz Klein.

That is really awful, I cant even begin to imagine how hard that has to be. Poor little guy.

Not sure if youd have the same in the states as Im in Canada but PetSecure has never failed us. Theyve covered everything so far, but then again we signed up our dog as soon as we got him as a puppy so there werent any exclusions.

out of nowhere he wasnt breathing well, and it sounded like a reverse sneeze, which has happened before, but this kept going on for 10 or more minutes. I cant recall correctly. We were very much panicked on our way to the hospital.

They kept him overnight and want to do an endoscopy because they keep mentioning they saw something in the x rays.

Right now theyre giving us the option to either keep him there until they find someone to do the endoscopy or take him home, keep an eye on him and make an appt with our regular vet ASAP. Currently leaning towards making the appt as he seems stable now and we dont want him being in the hospital if hed do okay at home. Plus our vet knows his medical history better. The bill is already in the 1000s but luckily we have pet insurance.

I feel really bad for my wife though, we had just come home from a party and she was drunk as fuck. The entire drive to the vet she was panicking about our dog dying in her arms and also dissociating hardcore thinking this was just a nightmare and shed wake up from soon.

Overall a 0/10 experience. Moral of the story is get pet insurance.

It's the same trick lawyers use on juries. Yeah it's not admissible and be stricken from the record - but the segment of the population he is going for will eat it all up.

Then he gets to play the persecution card as political commentators rightfully criticize the shit out of him.

Finally his reluctance to not denounce right wing extremists and literally call on Proud Boys (Dildo Bros) to stand guard and intimidate visible minorities.

Should you have any questions bump this topic and I'll respond as thoroughly as I can. I absolutely loved this game and it was a miracle that the first one turned out so good considering the development history.

Highlights
- original head of RETRO was embezzling money and funneling it into porn
- retro failed to get a game out of the gate, wasting millions. A football game being one of them.
- when they were given the Metroid licence to run with as Miyamoto was impressed with one of their demos they wasted a crap ton of time due to him scrapping pretty much everything and saying do it again. But good this time.
- most employees jumped ship, rumours were that the company was going to be shut down. Leaks everywhere. Money missing.
- Nintendo clamped down to the point where everyone was under security cameras and guards. People were working in really harsh conditions for the longest time until they got the trust back.
- Miyamoto doesnt like the third person view. Says do it again. But first person. But still make it a platform adventure.

The third one is an interesting beast.

The motion controls are fun for aiming and shooting but the motion you need to use for pulling items towards you was absolutely infuriating.

It was a good way to complete the Trilogy and it had a lot of very developed and interesting levels and set pieces. The final area is very memorable.

It wasn't so much that it was dumbed down more so that it has a 'fuck it button' where you are temporarily overpowered as hell

I really liked 2 once I made headway.

It is really fun at first. It plays like a horror game. Then it becomes a really huge slog until you beat a particular boss. Then it really picks up.

The last major level is a masterpiece and absolutely worth getting through the early hours for.

There's a bit of getting used to for the ammo but it is very generous in pick ups. Don't be afraid to use the special weapons or it will be difficult to play

The Metroid Prime Trilogy got me back into gaming when I was ready to call it quits. I was completely immersed in the world. I looked through each and every aspect of the lore and crevice. I played all three difficulties in each game. I put in tens of hours into the game.

I haven't played it in about a decade. I might be able to fire it up some time and do a playthrough to see how it held up.

For Super Metroid, I didn't get into it until I decided to play completely in the dark, high volume, large tv, and a pen and paper to keep track of discoveries I'll have to back track for. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It also helped that I went through a let's play years before....actually a really long time ago. Slow beef did it on Google video. Fun times. His Ridley voice is my head cannon.

For the most part. What people say and do are different and the only poll that matters is the actual vote.

Dogs are awesome, but what the fuck at all that schooling in Mexico. At least she's happy and loves her job.

Her parents were the main reason she studied medicine. Im sure she wouldve been a great doctor but theres no point in doing something you dont like. It caused some arguments with her family for sure, but shes much happier now.
honestly with everything going on these days Im glad shes not working at a hospital.

It's like a series of hills.

First you're just cruising downhill having fun for the first couple of years.
Then you reach that valley and have to start really working to support it - those annoying things your partner has always done become more prominent and you start to get kind of tired.
If you can push that boulder up the hill then it becomes more comfortable again. The view is different on this side of this second hill but it's still pleasant to look at.

Maybe having kids changes the landscape, idk since I've been married over 10 years and we don't have children yet.

Haha for sure weve discovered things the other does that drive us crazy. Weve gotten really good at fixing them though, or getting used to them.
Not saying its a walk in the park, weve been through some crap, especially during the first and second year since my grandpa got sick, then passed away and Pounce was very much so my support and even took care of him. Then add my mother and her tantrums on top of all that... yeah.
After 8 years of LDR we enjoy each others company a lot. I know some people joke that lockdown was hell for some married couples but we enjoyed spending the entire day together.
