I don't have an opinion on Tess's playability but I like all the changes from the consistency standpoint, and I think the other "new" interactions make more sense this way. It's just that 1) they should have been making things consistent from the very start and 2) they picked the absolute worst way and time to change things.

The rewards for that quest line are very much worth the effort if you at all enjoy fusion, I'd say.

You don't have to enjoy fusion for the payoff, those rewards are crazy powerful.

I would suggest a guide for it if you can't wrap your head around it. P5's is a lot more forgiving but I think I still needed it for a few ranks.

The trailers have looked pretty bad, but you could say the same about the original movie, which looked pretty generic but with lots of video game references for the novelty. It was a genuine surprise when reviews and impressions started coming out and it got massive praise.

I think the Gob being gay subplot in S4 was by far the funniest part of the season. The problem is, you actually need Ben Stiller to appear onscreen regularly for it to be good.

Keep in mind that not everyone is available every day. You have to follow their schedules, which I don't think are very consistent in this game. Since it's your first playthrough and first persona game, don't stress out too much about it, just pay attention and focus on what you want to do most when it's available.

For the bully, you have to find and talk to a certain NPC in the school. I think they're outside the school gates.

edit: Oh and a lot of the party member links are gated behind story. I think Ann might have been like this where it gives you a rank or two for free but you have to progress past a certain point until you can hang out with her normally.

God of War is made for the upper end of millenials and older that have kids of their own now. No way.

PUBG/Fortnite and Minecraft seem like the spot on answers. Gaming has changed a lot but what Battle Royale has done to shooters and streaming is comparable to how Goldeneye was, and Minecraft has Pokemon-like prevalence among young kids. Check out a toy aisle sometime, there's fucking youtube personality action figures.

I never really understood why they got rid of Masterpieces. They got panned initially as a gimmick to sell boxes, and it's not good as a primary source of reprints, but most people I talked to came around on it when it drove Standard prices down. Plus they just look sweet.

They said it was because they couldn't keep up good themes when done consistently, I still expected them once every few sets. And if A25 and Dominaria weren't the sets to bring them back, what are?

I agree that Michael got flanderized but I don't think it came out of nowhere. We're talking about the guy who in the original run couldn't be assed to pay attention to his son even when trying to be a good father, and had constant "misunderstandings" in all his relationships because he was so self-absorbed. Michael in the first 3 seasons is a bad person who is primarily motivated to be a good person by the spite he has for his family. So in that sense I liked seeing him becoming selfish and unhinged in S4 when he doesn't have interaction with the family to force him to stay grounded. George Michael is similar in that he's learning to become a selfish Bluth. But they probably went too hard too quickly on both of them.

In S5 I think they've found a happy medium for the two. George Michael still lies constantly but it's to do good things for the family. Michael still acts selfish but it's mostly trying to do the right thing except for sending Buster to jail, then not realizing his mistake because he distrusts his family so much. I actually like the dichotomy of Michael's actions overall hurting the family as he tries to do good, whereas Lucile was responsible for bringing the family together early on by acting entirely selfishly.

I think part of the disconnect is that it feels like a personal project Kanye made all for himself. He locks himself in a cabin in Wyoming to produce 5 albums, so his is just about what he's thinking about. Half the album is about his mental health, two tracks are about his family. But I can't tell you what All Mine and No Mistakes are doing here.

Yikes and Ghost Town would make it worth it even if the rest was trash, though.

Edit: I guess All Mine could be intentional irony going from a song about cheating to a song about his wife, but it just came across to me as TLOP-style Kanye verses with crazy lyrics.

No way, the production is on point, it's just not trying to be exactly what Daytona was. I think most of the tracks succeed at what they're doing. The extremely uncomfortable intro track and Ghost Town show that to me.

It might be Kanye's worst album, but it's still good.

Maeby has been great since her film executive plotline, but she's the best part of this season for sure. She's great in S4 too if you can look past the writers literally making her a sex offender as a joke (though tbqh that's probably half the Bluth family at this point).

That's because it was back when the show was airing on TV years ago. Even then, it had the overarching plotline of the Bluth family and company as a whole and George Sr.'s crimes. Nowadays people are much more receptive to slow TV plotlines so they went ahead and made that the whole show.

Theros has two ebooks. I only read the first one, it was pretty mediocre. Then for Khans they started the free website stories. If you really want to get caught up on the whole "current" storyline, start there. KTK block has a weird story but the Fate Reforged and Dragons stories set up some important things.

Admittedly, I haven't kept up with the magic story since Tarkir and the start of BFZ, but I enjoyed the Dominaria story. I agree it was unfocused, but I don't think you can blame the author for that. It's a Legendary-themed set, so the cast has to be enormous, AND the Gatewatch needs to be involved, AND gotta namedrop as many as the unimportant Legendaries from the set as possible, AND put Karn in there too so we can heavy-handedly foreshadow Phyrexia coming back, and shit this is a lot of characters, make sure you find a way to """tactfully""" write off Ajani and Jace who are supposed to be here too. Given all those requirements, I thought she did a great job. Though you can tell she only wanted to focus on a subset of characters (Lili, Gideon, Weatherlight crew, Teferi) and the rest suffer for it (Chandra especially is god awful).

But the writing really shines at points and she made me give a shit about Lili and Gideon, which I didn't think was possible.

The remix is still not totally linear. There's still a ton of jumping around, but it's "mostly" chronological. The main draw is giving the characters more even screentime within episodes so some of the slower plotlines (read: George Sr.) aren't as much of a slog. As much as I'll defend the original cut, the pacing is a huge problem and a ton of people drop it before the second half when it really picks up. Give the remix a shot if that sounds more appealing.

I watched the S4 remix to prepare. It wasn't bad but I feel like it's a downgrade from the original. It smoothed everything out for sure, but it wasn't worth all the recapping and joke explaining. After that, I'm looking forward to a "normal" season that was intended to be shown that way from the start!

Well going back to Dominaria and introducing Karn's subplot points pretty strongly to Phyrexia being the next focus. They could just let them have planar travel and do a few sets of them corrupting old planes every once in a while so it doesnt get too stale. That's how we can finally get new sets on Kamigawa and Lorwyn - sets about them being destroyed!

I can't really complain about more Ravnica, but I was really hoping they'd do a return to Theros first. Especially since with THREE Ravnica sets in a row, that means Dominaria will rotate out of Standard, and there could have been some sweet cross-block synergies there with Sagas and Historic.

I wouldn't say it's bad but I did think it was mediocre by Marvel movie standards. Yondu (and Nebula to a lesser extent) basically carries the movie.

I think what's weird about it is how split people are on Vol 2. The movie is sort of all over the place and so are people's ratings of it. You don't generally see that with the other Marvel movies. There's Avengers 2 but that's more of a love/hate deal.

I think others have covered it but definitely don't sleep on Camp and EP. That's classic Gambino and always going to be what defines him to me, even though his style gets reinvented with every album. BTI is an experimental concept album version of his rap, and while AML is a great album, it comes across as "Gambino trying something different."

This is America feels like what you'd get if you mashed everything he's ever done together.

I like the role that Banner has settled into. He's a humorous character whose humor isn't sarcastic, snarky, or both. The MCU NEEDS a straight man, and Cap can't be in every scene (he should be though).

I'll agree that Hulk has been underutilized. Aside from Avengers 1 (and his solo movie that I almost forgot existed), he's only existed so that the audience can gauge the power of other characters. He either jobs hard or stomps something that doesn't really matter.
