All of the side titles? I feel like the majority of people have only played 1 and 2 and maybe Chains of Memories. I'm probably wayyyy off base though. Sure would be nice to have a recap at the intro of 3.

At least Dream Drop Distance and Birth By Sleep are both going to be absolutely critical to the plot. KH3's entire premise and all the core ideas that come with it are mapped out between those two games.

Thankfully they've made it super easy to catch up. 1.5 -> 2.5 -> 2.8 and you're done, and all of those are available on PS4.

In all seriousness not to be mean, I personally have only played 1 and 2, and am not planning on playing anything else. I didnt understand 2 when I played it, I hardly understand the story so far even in those two games, Im here to have Mike Wazowski in my party.

Sounds like this should just be KH6.

Still waiting for the price to get low enough to justify checking out those PS4 versions.

I think it's fair to call it KH3 since really the numbered games should just be Sora's story, while all the side stuff fleshes out the world and adds details on Xehanort and his plans, which are super key to KH3.

Chain of Memories is kind of an exception considering how that game ends. >_>

You could also maybe argue Dream Drop Distance should be numbered since Sora is playable in it but that game really ends up being Riku's story.

The collections are pretty cheap for the hundreds of hours of gameplay they provide (400-500) if you're aiming to platinum everything
