They did some comic book epilogue storyline. But I have never read it. I think it involves looking for Zuko and Azula's mom They actually did several comics. Zukos mom is the second one. First one deals with conflict between Aang and Zuko over how to handle Fire colonies in the Earth Kingdom. Canonically Hell isn't even that bad - it's just a place like any other. Early Church writers and Dante are the ones most responsible for the idea that Hell is a place of physical torment. To be fair, we're not arguing over the dilemma I agree Janeways characterization is inconsistent. And Star Trek does have a bad habit of putting life-altering events in their episodes and then never mentioning them again. But the dilemma itself was good writing. On the Star Trek subreddit people still hotly debate whether she did the right thing or not. You can already see opposing opinions in this thread. Not to mention that usually when Star Trek has a dilemma like this, the last part of the episode introduces some deus ex machine that lets them have their cake and eat it too.
