first and third picture are pushing the limit. it's a bit too lewd. It would be more family friendly if the women were fully clothed and the clothing wasn't revealing or tight fitting.

If it sexualizes a person or character, that constitutes horny posting. So if you make a topic saying Asuka is really hot and post a picture of her in a bathing suit, that's gonna get deleted. Now if you say she's really beautiful and post a tasteful picture of her, my understanding is that should be fine although another mod is free to correct me on that.

So that explains the absurdity of closing down the foot fetish topic-- you're not allowed to sexualize anyone, now, period, no matter how inoffensive the subject matter/content is.

Fandom doesn't like the non-gaming social and community boards. It wants the discussion on the Gamefaqs message boards to be mostly to entirely gaming-related. Timmy stated that any sort of debate and diverse perspective needs to be "respectful and relevant to our gaming-focused platform."

I wonder if the mods even feel good about giving 90 day suspensions to people with clean moderation histories for inoffensive posts. there has to be a point when they end their day with dozens of undeserved suspensions and feel some sort of guilt, right?

It's not like it matters. They can make anything up they want. One site I was banned from they literally broke their own TOS in order to ban me.

Well, yeah, you do have a point about the minor thing. Gamefaqs has a zero tolerance policy about the sexualization of minors however, so it doesn't matter if it's a real person or not.

I think you're new to my topics. My topics surround idols. Everything about them, their gravure photoshoots, their new MV's, group interactions and news, even the wider industry in Jpop. It just features a lot of cute/sexy Japanese girls on top of that.

Yep the admins and mods are literally just making up nonsense and everyone lets them get away with it. For instance I have gone through all of GameFAQs and Fandom's tos/tou and message board rules and there is nothing about politics other than something saying that a user-run wiki cannot promote a political campaign. Every day they are just making up new rules based on how they feel and then changing it later on because there are no rules.

what exactly are we supposed to do to "fight" against the unfair moderations? all it takes is one moderation and you can lose access to CE forever

This whole topic is about how broad this new rule can be. And like I said, my topics consist of Gravure, which is part of being an idol.

And the discussion was, is that hornyposting? Or is simply commenting about someone being sexy horny posting? Also, some of the other users posted good points, does this extend to skimpy videogame characters like Ivy?

This is a broad rule in which most of us don't know where the line is painted. Just simply telling us to refrain from "creepy posting" is hard to do when there are games like Nier Automata and Stellar Blade with specific fan service. Does that get us in trouble?

Posting them in suggestive poses or scenarios, like that gif of 2B in her underwear climbing a ladder while the camera is zoomed in on her ass, is likely not fine. Just ask yourself if what you're posting is relevant to the topic and if it's tasteful. If you're posting Ivy in a topic about best video game character armor, no one is coming after you. If you're posting Ivy in a discussion about who has the best boobs, well....

Are you by chance a mod Miquella? If yes, please post on your mod account (as stated in the title). I don't hornypost but even I recognize that 'tasteful' and 'relevant' are open to interpretation.

There are still questions (AskTheMod) about this and someone has yet to fully explain this hornypost business.

Truth be told, I think most are aware what it is.

There's a difference between posting a picture of a character to actually discuss said character
And posting a picture of a character that you and I both know was posted for ogling or fap material and going, "let's discuss her qualities as a person"

I don't think it's all that vague, the issue is going to be the bad faith actors who typically post fap material and play dumb about it. If anything it's going to be the bad faith actors who fuck over the ones who genuinely posted something they genuinely thought wasn't "hornyposting."

Anyway, while hornyposting (a word I never even heard until 2 days ago) is not part of my activity on this site I dont think its inherently disrespectful to admire a persons physical features. Just a matter of how you go about it.

That's literally every image according to Fandom.

Another thing I don't get. Aside from the lack of any official rules on the matter, where was it even suggested that hornyposting is banned? The initial announcement only says that it would be "addressed". What constitutes hornyposting is not defined, nor does it say it's forbidden. If anything, you can interpret the message as saying that it's still allowed on CE specifically.
