I don't have the original pic for reference, so I just modified one I drew a few years ago. And added a shirt for modesty. And vest because I think men in vests are se--I MEAN dapper. I think they're dapper. Not sexy. I respect men and don't objectify them ever.

I never really understood the Wartortle appeal. Squirtle and Blastoise are both great, just never really been a fan of him. I think he's my least favorite of first 9. Hell, I'd probably pick Caterpie over him too.

I feel the opposite. Squirtle is cute, but neither of them are as good as Wartortle. The wispy bits and determined expression make it cooler than Squirtle and the wisps and body shape make it cuter than Blastoise, so it's the best of both worlds. It also just looks more cuddly since the other two forms don't really have any soft elements.

Hold down as the ball flies, then also hold B once it hits the pokeyman. Hold them firmly to keep the ball from breaking. Guaranteed to work 100% of the time, 2% of the time.

Yay, the pokeymans tournament is on! I was worried the Great CEclusion would put an end to it, and I hope it doesn't still end up doing so. Unless Alolan Meowth or Lechonk get eliminated in their first rounds, in which case I hope CE gets shut down the next day.

I picked Charmander in gen 1 and it is the strongest choice of family having both 'mander and 'zard, but since this lets us pick an individual form, Wartortle takes it for me. I like the wispy ears and tail. Ivysaur is also underrated.

Also poor Caterpie, pitted against nine truly iconic pokeymans.

I just tried to print out this receipt. It was a screenshot of it from another phone and I'm using my phone to print it, so not the best conditions, but still. For some bullfuck reason it defaults to Fill Page instead of Fit to Page. That's already a dumb fuckin setting to default to unless you like getting a random portion of the image you wanted to print. But then I change it to Fit to Page and hit print and it still just fills the page with a blown up selection of this stupid document. I try again and it fills again. I try some reverse psychology, selecting Fill Page, but it's the same fuckin result for no goddamn reason.

Why do printers gotta jerk your fuckin chain at every opportunity? Just fuckin work, dude.

Then Open Your Heart plays and I'm like, oh right, this is good, too.

Live and Learn does take it though. It helps that there's all the menu music and certain cutscenes with that leitmotif building it up throughout the game and then in the final battle, it finally comes out full force. I don't remember any hints of Open Your Heart prior to the semifinal battle of SA1 other than the opening splash screen. Plus then SA1's final battle has another phase where Open Your Heart STOPS playing for no good reason.

Topic title is debatable, but probably right generally. Like the best of Mario is obviously way better than the worst of Sonic. But Sonic has a lot of really cool music where Mario sometimes feels almost deliberately generic. Maybe Sonic music is more memorable cuz it sticks out as being better than some of the games it's in though.

It was possible to use them at the start of the game if you had a friend or family member that finished the game since you could swap records using the IR on the cartridge. But yeah, it was really dumb to include it as post game content, especially since if you have hard mode active is effects the GYM Leaders' rosters.

The middle of the ocean isn't exactly the human's natural habitat. When you're there and underwater, being a little on edge is already reasonable. And there's just open water where things can approach from any direction, unlike land where at least "below" is off limits. Now throw in any huge-ass beast, and being scared shitless is perfectly understandable even if it's a huge-ass beast that you know isn't aggressive by default.

Yeah and it was implemented in the most bizarre way possible. Iirc you practically had to beat the game before you could change the difficulty in either direction and the direction you could choose was version dependent. What is even the point of an easy mode you have to unlock by completing a challenge most of the way through the game?

Octopath Traveler. Technically it's post game, but it is the final boss that can only be fought after all eight of the possible bosses that earn you the credits sequence. It's an enormous jump in difficulty over everything else in the game and it's the only time you need all eight characters geared up at once and two separate, extremely capable teams. Even well equipped, it has every nasty trick in the book, hits like a train, and requires you to put out a lot of damage fast if you don't wanna get rekt.

Yes, ban them, but only for women. G-strings will be be solely for men until y'all learn to stop objectifying women.

There are so many components and easy ways to make money from chaos you have to think Sega is allergic to money

I'm still surprised they never pushed a Chao Go or some kind of chao gacha. Sell egg boxes to keep players spending to get the right color chao and the right animals/chaos drives/food. Then sell outfits and accessories for your chao and toys and furniture for your garden. It's such a gold mine for shitty monetization.
