Exactly. Punch if you're on safe flat ground, meteor smash the homies if you're anywhere near a pit. Also the punching combos don't launch you nearly as far if you don't move the control stick. Just mash punch by itself and you get a decent quick infinite combo.

I should hook up the GameCube and try it again. I remember the physics being more janky than the adventures and punching with Knuckles or Omega was just asking to go flying off a cliff. Also all the combat was less interesting than the platforming of the adventures. The late game enemies with the helmets you had to knock off and then try to hit their tiny weak spots sucked. But it was still fun sometimes.

If I were to hook up the GameCube again though, I'd probably just play SA2B again instead.

I think I only started blocking after Fandom took over. Like I remember Temu ads all over here. I can handle static images or even animated banners just fine. But once full page ads and redirects started happening on every click, the site became unusable. Also ads loading in and moving the whole page around just as I was about to click. Fuck that intrusive shit so hard.

I like the new eco friendly straw. It beats the paper ones.

One thing I've learned in the five months I've been drawing Pokemon is that the more I think about not screwing something up, the more likely I am to screw it up. I kind of just got into a mindset where I start drawing and keep an eraser nearby to correct a mistake. I somehow landed in a position where I don't have to actually use the eraser as much anymore, but if you look closely you can see where I had to fix part of Articuno's wing because I started scaling the feathers down too quickly.

That makes sense. Confident strokes are important. I saw a clip recently advocating doing practice sketches in pen rather than pencil so you can't go back and erase each little line and instead just have another go at the whole sketch. Supposedly it can help you get a feel for getting a line right the first time when you sit down to draw something seriously. I can't imagine doing that myself though. I'm an eraserholic, hardcore addicted to the eraserhol.

Fire might legitimately be one of my favorite things to draw, which is a little concerning to type lol

Also couldn't be me. I used to love drawing fire as a kid, but nowadays I always end up hating the shapes I make. It's just one of those things I should practice but will instead just avoid drawing and then cry whenever I'm forced to draw it.

Nice Flying type pokeyman drawings, but idk what they have to do with Birds.

For realsies though, nice job on the feet and beaks. Those parts strike me as easy to screw up, but they look good.

Edit: Also wow, nice work on Moltres' flames. That looks great.

The first one I remember aside from scripted Gyarados was a Loudred in Sapphire. Never really used it cuz it's a boring shiny on a pokeyman I don't care about.

I can't remember if I ever caught a random shiny in Gold or Crystal. I do know that in HeartGold, I caught two shiny Magikarp, which is cool, but also pretty useless since they just evolve into the shiny that everyone got from that same game. >_<

Yeah, I was thinking it was an oddly worded description of the fact that inklings are squids, which have limbs but not bones, then they turn into what look like bony humans. I can't think of one that matches what you actually said.

Pokemon Legends Arceus. GF considers it a mainline game, so you could call it a "different" entry. Honestly I still consider it a spinoff though. Cuz of how different it is.

In my pocket unless I took it out to text someone or turn on music before driving. Then I'll either leave it in my lap or in the passenger seat. I don't use it while driving though.
