You can get from any point in the game to any point in the game in about 10 or so minutes, if you know what you're doing, and you're going to be passing points of interest plenty as is. It was a concern in the back of my mind the entire time and it's simply not a problem.

Just checked the dev's twitter and they plan on adding a map sometime in the next month, so I suppose you have that coming.

You can get from any point in the game to any point in the game in about 10 or so minutes, if you know what you're doing, and you're going to be passing points of interest plenty as is. I'm having so much goddamn fun. Absolutely no fluff or padding, just some proper skill-based platforming. I think the bigger achievement is that this game has no map and no fast travel and I have not missed them ONCE. This is what 3D platformers should aspire to be.

Ads are fine as a practice. People paying to have their product showcased is perfectly fine. What's NOT fine is that the ads on sites are intrusive, make noise when you don't want them to, block up half the screen, have malware, or just jump in front of things, forcing you to look at them even if you aren't interested in them. At that point, the ads become a roadblock to navigating the site instead of something to showcase a product.

No, they're not fine as a practice. They parasitically suck your time away at absolutely no benefit to you. They create incentives that lead to sanitized content and sensationalism. The reason Google and Facebook are collecting every iota of data on you that they possibly can is because they want to give that data to advertisers.

Lol I recently found out that apparently fans of the show hated it because apparently they had jon Voight play the main character of the show and become a straight up villain twist betrayal and Tom cruise was the young hot new actor who they were peddling as the new mission impossible.

It would be like... if they made an Indiana Jones with the intent of passing the torch from Jones to a new younger guy, like maybe his son from a previous lover or something.

Just think that's funny because no one has heard of the show or its characters and everyone associates mission impossible with Tom cruise. Even when they tried to have Jeremy Renner take over it didn't work

As a fan of the original series who watched the hell out of it, I love MI1. It's such a great movie on every level and if you can't enjoy it because it's not like the 60's series, you're stupid.
