Reading through Vol. 3 right now (just finished #5) and I am continually impressed at how damn well the stories continue to be, especially given how relatively early they were written. The art is also astounding given the printing limitations the entire industry had to deal with. Even though the stories have been amazing on their own by today's standards as early as the late 70's, the Legion was still a trendsetter in SO many ways long before that. I'm shocked that it doesn't get any of the recognition or popularity that it so rightfully deserves, especially given how much DNA it shares with the X-Men.

The trailers I've seen show an absolutely ungodly amount of effort put into this game. It may not be my cup of tea (i dunno i'm not playing it lmao), but I'll certainly take more of this over open world slop #273.

God, the level curve is just extraordinarily fucked, though. Clair is a HUGE level spike (every member of her team had at LEAST 5 levels on mine) and I'm not even running a full team of 6. I remember a previous playthrough where I did my absolute damndest to raise the level 5 Dratini you get from the Dragon's Den and it crippled me throughout all of Kanto. I don't know how the fuck I had less trouble as a dumb 9 year-old.

The level curve is a big point against it, but even putting it aside, it's mostly just long stretches of paths with tall grass that MIGHT have some fences or some water.

Because the military industrial complex owns the government. Making weapons is highly profitable and feeding people is not. Everything else is window dressing.

The HD Collection wasn't. Since Konami is confirming this is the HD Collection ported 1:1, it won't be either.

MGS2 on Ps2 was a technical marvel and the source code got lost. They retooled it for the HDC, but capped it at 30fps because their port wasn't great.

MGS2 HD definitely runs at 60 on the HD collection, though.
