I dunno, man. Like, it always helps me to write down or talk about a handful of recent things I'm grateful for when I'm feeling down. Sure, things still suck in the background, but it helps me feel a bit better about what's going on in the present.

It's what you make of it and while it might not be the life for you, I'm sure you can take something good away from it (like the forests as you've said!)

Same way here, man. Also realize that growth is a very slow process unless you're one of those body builder types who eat 6 kinds of meals ever and work out for 2 and a half hours 5 daya a week. If you're going just for weight gain, it's gonna take a long while. Something you can do for better muscle definition is lower weight, higher reps. And who cares if you cap out at 105 on bench for a day? Doing 15 reps 5 times in a set will have your muscles screaming but it will help make you more toned.

Overall man, it sounds like you got a positive outlook on progress but don't forget that it's not exponential. You'll hit walls and sometimes even slip back, but just keep pushing at it and try something different from time to time.

Salads are nice. You can put so many different things in there. Shredded chicken breast, tuna steak, walnuts, cranberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, tofu, quinoa, beets, eggs, olives, whatever you want man. Strawberries work well too. Pears. Jeez, I might just make a salad tonight now.

That's a good label for it, gonna have to use that from now on for the ole' TB. I still can't see how Pizza Hut deep dish is anything like an authentic Italian pizza though. One is super doughy with lots of sauce and cheese, typically greasy. The other is thin, with minimal sauce, sometimes removing it altogether for oil instead.

I like Taco Bell, but I wouldn't consider it Mexican food by any means, and that's not supposed to be a cheap dig at it. It's just a weird style of food that's all its own thing, I feel. Mexican inspired of course, but to me, that'd be like calling Pizza Hut "Italian food".

Having experience with friends on the spectrum, I feel like this is just a heated moment and things will be better for you in a few hours to a few days. It's not okay right now, but it will be soon.

I'd say monks are extremely successful. They know what they want, they set out to achieve it, and they get there. That's success.
