I hear Clock Tower (technically Clock Tower 2) gives Silent Hill 1 some strong competition for the scariest game on the console, and the other two sound neat as well. --- |

The Vita's library is largely niche anime titles, so everything you'd expect from an anime board you got there as well. 2. Even from the start, the Vita wasn't getting nearly the amount of support or commercial success the 3DS was, and with the PS4 dominating over its competition commercially & Sony fanboys rubbing it in, Nintendo fanboys needed a board to return the favor. The end result was a cesspool of unpleasantness, unbridled pessimism & insufferable fanboys. It doesn't even get points for being apolitical, as there were plenty of topics about SJWs trying to censor games & shit like that. Just the worst. --- |

I'm one of the 3 or so people that preferred the Sega Saturn over both. :o I don't have much experience with the Saturn (mostly because it's such an expensive console to collect for), but I always loved the concept of it; it's truly one of the most "hardcore" gaming consoles of all time in that its console largely consisted of unique, risky titles that catered to niche & dedicated gamers over the then-rapidly-increasing casual demographic, and it absolutely blew its competition away in terms of 2D gaming. Panzer Dragoon Saga in particular is a game I think could go down as one of my all-time favorites... if only I could track down a copy for an even remotely reasonable price. :( --- |

PS1 is pretty much the GoaT I honestly agree tbh; I'd put the PS2 slightly above it because it was the first console that could play DVDs (IIRC), it had backwards compatibility with the PS1's already expansive library, had the overall largest retail library of any console to date, and is still the best-selling console of all-time, but in terms of original libraries (i.e. not just games available via digital download or backwards compatibility), I still consider the PS1 the GOAT. --- |
