By this logic, I might make the same argument about the risks that come from them.

Most of treatment and prevention in modern medicine is a risk vs. benefit analysis; and we have decades of data to show that the benefits of vaccination far outweigh any theoretical risk. The only documented risks are those of allergic reactions, which depending on the vaccine are as high as 1 per 1 million.

It's also important to keep in mind that not every vaccine is 100% efficacious. Just because you got a vaccine doesn't mean you could never ever contract an illness. This makes herd immunity all the more important. If everyone is immunized, the odds of a disease getting to someone who isn't fully (or at all) protected are greatly diminished.

Plus its really easy and harmless to get immunizations, so it should absolutely be required if you want to live in a society with other people.

Here's an idea: let's take everyone that willfully chooses to not vaccinate their families without a medically acceptable cause and move them all to a remote island. This way the responsible members of society won't be at risk of being infected by the self-centered anti-vaxxers that will inevitably contract the once-eradicated diseases, and the anti-vaxxers don't have to be vaccinated if they don't want to with no one around to criticize their decision. Win-win.
