So I want to talk about Bird Box.

This movie feels very, very disjointed. So do you want to be a creepy cult movie or a hidden monster movie or a psychological threat movie? Why try to be all three? All three of them together feels so strange to me. Because by the end, none of them actually feels like a total threat because none of them get a focus. Like, at the beginning the psychological threat kills tons of people. But then sometimes it doesn't kill people and it just makes a creepy cult of people who want them to see the monster/psychological threat, but the monster never feels like a monster because all it is is just a gust of wind, and the focus is on this cult group of people who seem okay except they just really want you to look at the invisible monster thing.

I thought those elements fit together well, because for me this felt like obvious Cosmic Horror. Overall I thought the movie was decent enough.

So like I said before, I'm not going to make a continuous playthrough topic since I'm going through it so slowly right now. Maybe once I get to 7 I'll make a new one.

Anyway, I'm past the first twilight and things are ramping up towards another love battle thing. I'm liking this episode a lot more now! I'm turning around on the love battle stuff, it's gotten more interesting. The scene where Erika fools Battler into giving her tape is amazing despite the fact that I'm rooting for Battler to win it all. The thing is, since that scene at the start of 6 shows Battler lost I know he's going to lose anyway so I can take some amusement in scenes where he falters since I know he is going to anyway.

I'm glad we're over the part where Battler treats the new Beatrice badly. It was kinda annoying even though I can see where Battler is coming from, and I KNEW it would be resolved anyway so I was kinda just waiting for the resolution.

It was cool! One problem I found though was I eventually got the point where I could call and enter a number, but I got the number wrong. I couldn't find a way to get back to that scene, which was too bad cause I would have tried again.

"Just as a heads-up for people not following news from the JP version, or in case it slipped through the cracks in all the Broly movie content hype, one of the things the movie celebration is doing is an LR Trunks campaign, and it's operating a bit differently this time compared to the last two. It will still add category bonus drops on the medals (future and androids categories), and you'll still get Kais, stones, and enough AGL potential orbs to refund the entire cost of getting Trunks rainbowed....but this time you'll only get 7 kais instead of 10, and 20 stones instead of 30.

However, if you have finished LR Trunks before the campaign begins, you will get the other 3 kais and 10 stones that had been cut from the core rewards, as a bonus.

The specific wording of the requirement to get the bonus (at least on the wiki) is "Recruit LR Trunks before the campaign begins," so hopefully that means you don't have to do the entire second copy ahead of time as well, but regardless, make sure to get him up to LR while the event is still daily. After January 2nd it goes to its normal 'sundays only' slot and getting it done will be a lot harder."
