I understand that he had access to sensitive information that we do not and I'm not going to assume the contents of our military information that led to this strike. No one is saying the guy we killed was a good guy. But sometimes good things can be done for the wrong reasons and good things can have bad consequences. So yeah, I do question trumps motive to order the strikeb and I question whether or not he considered the ramifications. Clearly we could have taken this guy out at any point as evidenced by how quickly it transpired. What made this the right moment? Thump has a documented history of ignoring his expert's advice so I'd be curious to knows if that played a roll. But I'm patient and I will wait for more facts before I cement my belief that this strike was called in bad faith. Right now though is being positioned as "trump did this" which is enough to make me question it. --- |
