| Fluttershy 07/27/21 11:35:50 AM #24 | it doesn't necessarily matter if dkc2 had more 'gimmick' levels (however we're defining that term) if the impression is still that dkc3 had too many. in terms of what took a step back i'm too far-removed from a playthrough of either or a watchthrough but i do remember stages in 3 seeming to meander. like it doesn't really point you the right way and you just found it. it reminded me of playing an early patch of dragon quest 5 actually. i ended up getting really lost because the translation seemed to skip to an area well ahead of where i was. --- |
