i think one of the classes has a life grip ability like in wow

will the GMs ban you if you life grip someone you dont like in a raid off a cliff or at least not heal them when they are in the fire

lol actually you have the right idea up and down. players in ffxiv get all sorts of angry about lifegripping.

This reminds me of the WoW bug where if you were on the boat in Booty Bay, the game actually considered you to be underground on the northern side of the continent, so if you Death Gripped someone not on the boat they'd go flying north for 15-20 minutes.

The ability is called rescue that pulls a ally towards you.

And if a healer is doing it repeatidly just to troll they will be booted long before anything like a GM even comes to thought.

No, which is why it's not wt all rampant to my knowledge, and even then quiting to access the raid or whatever again within 30mins isn't a big deal for most.
