Phantom menace was quite a boring film man.

Didnt help that I fell asleep for 10-15 mins at a time and didnt actually realise Padmay was queen amadala the whole time .

some of these scenes are drawn out as fuck, reminds me of when danerys is riding the dragon in the final season of GOT and just burns everything for 15 mins straight real time, like ok I get it lets move on.

Ill watch a spoiler free summary of Ep 1 to see what I missed then move onto the next. So far dont quite see what the fuss is all about with Star Wars.

The community regularly kills Pokemon for me. Every time hacking, exploiting or bringing in Pokemon from previous gens (started getting really bad in X/Y) I get turned off. Definitely a minority opinion.

Tbh thats kind of how I feel.

Between Nov-March I felt like i get Pokemon SwSh. But then they brought in Pokemon home, all of a sudden the meta changed with bringing in Incineroar and shit, I all of a sudden have to relearn my online strategies and build my team to check any new counters that have been brought in against my existing strategies.

Money aside, I kind of just feel like I cant be bothered.

I make a religion just to combat my cities from converting to an enemies religion, but I dont bother trying to do a religious victory. The AI is just too good at it. Ill stick with culture, science or military.

Yeah that used to be my rationale but theres really no benefit in doing that, cos theres no real downside to getting your enemys religion.

That 10-20 you spend at the start kicking out holy sites could net you two settlers or an early army. Youre probably gonna get there eventually but the earlier you get them the quicker you just snowball.

I never realised how much religion bogs down the early game for not very much benefit in the long run, especially with how competitive the AI is at higher difficulties.

Oftentimes you end up pumping 3 cities into holy site prayers just to have a chance at founding the last religion and have to play catch-up the rest of the early-mid game.

Zikten seems like an okay dude, if a little misguided. He wants to support BLM and decry racism, but he exhibited a bit of subtle racism on his part. As a long time Pokemon fan it takes a lot of self control to not even consider playing what the vast majority of us have always wanted which was a mainline title playable on the home console in a fully 3D world. I actually dont know how anybody can resist on moral grounds, which is why its commendable.

Even with the low quality aesthetic aside, I mean thats never been a strong suit for the series anyways lol

Given the shit visual quality of their games recently, it would be an improvement. I chose not to get Sw/Sh because I don't support the low effort they're putting in. Not that my choice did anything, Sw/Sh are among the highest selling Switch games.

Something similar happened with NBA 2k18 where the same dialogue popped up, but there was the option to "beg" for your job back using in game virtual currency, so if you have no virtual currency you can buy some and the option unlocks.

So they effectively held your save game for ransom with potentially real money. How is this even allowed to happen

Im 3/4 of the way into the season in NBA 2k20, 3rd seed in the west and 3rd overall. Random cutscene after losing one game, the CPU says my services are no longer required or some shit. So effectively game over, permanently.

How in the fuck can this be considered an actual feature in a game? Why is 2K so bad
