Im probably not shit at my job, but i find it hard not to take mistakes personally you know what I mean? Think Ive mentioned it before and someone here said its called imposter syndrome. Not much has changed, still sometimes feel like Im shit at my job and Im gonna get found out when something happens. How do you even stop that?

Despite the fact that Ive got my degree and managed to get a job and have been promoted twice with a change of companies in between, when something goes wrong I instantly think of reasons why. Usually its something like maybe Im just inexperienced, maybe I fast tracked myself into the role without grinding it out like most people would have or maybe I should have paid more attention at university.

Definitely more susceptible to turning into a bore than most other genres. Saving private Ryan was pretty good, and Forrest Gump (if that can be considered a war film)

Yeah nostalgia aside, Sims 3 (with expansions) was probably the most complete game in the series. Sims 4 + all expansion and stuff packs to date doesnt even compare.

And being able to just free roam the map without load screens was amazing

Har har just like real university but seriously it takes my sim about 45 mins to walk from his dorm to class, by which point I've missed most the damn class.

I'm hungry all the time and there's no kitchen in the dorm and you can't even just buy a fridge or even order a pizza? Just have to rely on roomates bringing random cakes and pizzas all the time?

I will never understand why developers overlook or sometimes just completely ignore core mechanics of games that have worked in the past not even for the sake of innovating, just forgetting or excluding them. Don't make no sense yall

oh ok maybe as a technical exercise it was brilliant, but as far as the movie itself goes the storytelling was just too superficial and the characters had no real depth. Disappointing.

One of the things that won it so much acclaim was the cinematography. It was a "single-shot" film and as far as those go 1917 was edited very well. It's very difficult to find the cuts. It's impressive from a movie-making standpoint, but you might have to be a bit of a film geek to appreciate it.
