If those Hurricanes injuries from today last a while, they could very easily see this series turn around on them.

Going down the list, here's what I'm seeing:
Van Riemsdyk: Probably out the rest of the series
Maenalanen: Out the rest of the series
Martinook: DTD, sounds like he won't be 100% until the offseason
Svechnikov: DTD
Ferland: DTD
Mrazek: DTD

Honestly, besides Mrazek, none of these guys were like, super duper important production wise. Svech and Ferland were around the 40 pt range, so you like to have them, I would def want them back next game, but they made it this far in this postseason pretty much without both. Mae, VR, and Marti are just bodies.

I would be totally okay with you drafting what the AI would take during the draft if a user no-shows. I get that you've always touted this as a "Do as much or as little as you want" project, but you've essentially been rewarding those who choose the lesser side of that option, and while I'm not saying those who choose to be hands off shouldn't do well, they also shouldn't have any success handed to them for being hands off. This is a fun project but in my eyes it's still a competition. Those new users you're worried about are perfectly capable of soliciting your advice for them if they wish if they want to do well, as long as they do some work themselves. "What would you say my biggest needs are? Who would you take in this situation?" These and others are all valid questions they can ask while not just leaving you to do all the work. It would probably cut down on time and overall effort you have to put into this thing as well.

Honestly it's good for the lakers that magic is gone because he also came out afterwards and accused the pelicans of dealing in bad faith, which certainly wouldn't help the lakers chances next time around if he were still in charge.

Yeah the celtics from what I understand can put together a more valuable package than the lakers can once this season is done anyway, and the lakers knew it which is why they pushed so hard to get AD before the celtics could enter the fray.

I never heard that they denied that offer was even on the table though, that's pretty stupid when magic came right out and told the players via media "Get over it, we'll trade if you we feel like it."
