I've had 2 6-win druid runs in a row, last one could have gone further, but I made a bonehead decision to go face instead of kill his questing adventurer. Who he then proceeded to clone and give "deathrattle: Summon a copy of this minion" dude had 2 life left, but then played mindbreaker cutting me off from pinging him, he had a full board, my only hope was drawing bite or swipe, got neither.

Also, I noticed when I hit rank 15 that it had a cap on how far you could fall, much the same way it did with rank 20. Is that a thing now, every 5 ranks you can't fall below that rank anymore?

How do people feel about this chart? Especially last year, we had a lot of trouble nailing down what was a fair trade and what wasn't, I feel like some sort of numerical association with one half of tradeable assets (Draft picks) would help.

An example, this chart means that:
To move up from #2 to #1 overall pick, you would need to trade a pick somewhere around #50 (mid 2nd rd) to compensate.
To move up from #25 to #20 overall, you would need to trade a pick around #90-95 (end of 3rd rd) to compensate.

I feel like it kind of represents some of our thoughts that the higher up in the draft you're looking to move, even if it's fewer overall spots, the more you need to give up, and like I said, having some sort of concrete valuation you could look at and say "Okay what could we get here" would be helpful. In the above examples, #2 to #1 is only a 1 spot difference, but the chart lists that as a 400 point difference. While moving from 25 to 20 is 5 spots difference, but only a 130 point difference. I would be interested to hear everyone's thoughts about this. Would it be something you'd be interested in officially integrating, KCF?

Considering I have SS4 Gogeta I think I'll go ahead and do it. I didn't realize he had the same ki-switching ability so that's not too bad.

I just meant that, in general I don't think that URs you get from dokkanning a unit all the way from SR are as powerful as units that start out as an SSR. Seeing as how I was wrong about the other thing though I could certainly be off base about that as well. But yeah I forgot you did get ss4 gogeta so def go for it.

if you had a SA level 9 PHY Goku Black however, you could put that on a SA Level 1 PHY Goku Black and the Level 1 would go up 9 levels cause it's the same card

It's pretty much always safer to play defense than offense in fighting games. Sticking to low risk moves that control space and are hard to punish tends to be easier to get away with than trying to actually gain ground against someone doing that. Obviously it's a big generalization but that's the gist, and it means that without a time limit defensive play becomes much more optimal, especially when you consider that human patience/endurance is a limited thing and the longer you can successfully stall, the likelier it becomes that your opponent won't be playing well.

Gotcha. Smash is p much the only fighting game I've put considerable hours into so I didn't know that was the norm in most fighters. Thanks for informing me!

Take time away and it punishes aggression to an absurd degree. It doesn't make a lot of sense at the level of little local events, but those follow the rules of the big tournaments generally, and the big tournaments can have some respectable prize money on the line. If you could win a few thousand dollars for little more than being able to stay focused for a long time while other people get sleepy, wouldn't you? Plus the defensive strategy just appeals to some people, I'm the kind of fighting game player who...well, sucks, but I alternate between sucking at being very aggressive and sucking at using the most tedious tactics imaginable. It's fun to basically just sit there and watch people do stupid things because they aren't patient enough.

It's 2 stocks, but there's a 6 minute timer just in case some guy wanted to play campy. It prevents the game from going on forever and keeps the tournament going.

They won't make it go forever, but there are definitely people who would camp you out for 10 minutes or more if they wanted to and if there was no timer because they don't want to approach and they'd rather just try to frustrate you and force you to approach and make mistakes

Yeah there's no reason a well-run tourney should take as long as this one solio went to, it sounds it was all about poor administration. If people know they can't mess around and hold it up for everyone, then it should be fine.

I would argue that "sports" such as football, basketball, tennis, etc, all require both physical and mental exertion, while esports involves just mental exertion.

I don't know exactly how many you've done, but once you do 3 pulls, you get 1 free, then it resets to 3. Also it treats each banner separately, so if you do 3 pulls total, 2 on gogeta and one on omega, then you have 1 more pull to do on gogeta before a free one, and 2 more pulls on omega to get a free one. Make sense?

The deal itself lasts for, as of this post, 60 more hours.
