As expected, the Problem Solver Caucus's attempt at a coup fell flat. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries from NY-8 has been elected as Caucus Chairman, Joe Crowley's old position. The PSC has already signaled it will not oppose Rep. Pelosi in the floor vote, making her election as Speaker of the House assured.

I find playing around nomads really frustrating. They can keep a standing horde the size of several (relatively undeveloped) counties but their troops are also way better(to be fair, horse archers should rule, particularly on plains), so dealing with them is hell. And they're frustratingly stable in vanilla!

This is probably true. You could report such income as gifts, for example, and the IRS generally doesn't care very much about the specifics of that income as long as it is correctly reported. Nor does it care if you're here illegally or anything else like that. It doesn't have the time or resources, in any case.

By the way, this is the form you're supposed to file in the event you think some one's gotten money via illegal activities: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f3949a.pdf
You may realize that the IRS wants you to give the person's real name, SSN, home address, an estimate of the size of the illegal income and the nature of the illegal income.

Anything you want, if you use the Mew glitch. Except Mew, unless you use an insanely dangerous glitch to manipulate its Trainer ID.
The TM list in RBY is pretty dire though, and Clefairy/Clefable can't learn Soft-boiled in them. However, anything you transfer from RBY or GSC will have its hidden ability upon transfer.

As far as shinies go, I have time to look things over, and..I'll list a few ones I really like.

I think it's much more straightforward than Mueller intentionally setting up. It's just Manafort tried to play Mueller and he's not even half as smart as he thinks he is. So Mueller figures out real quick Manafort is lying and lets him feed bad information to Trump, information which Trump uses to probably lie his ass off to Mueller, because he thinks he's smart too. Now that Trump has ensnared himself, Mueller gets to nail Manafort to the wall again and has a bunch more material to work with.
All because he's a competent prosecutor facing off with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

I don't know what the universe where Clinton is elected would look like, but it might have looked something like her husband's presidency. Her recent statements have shown she's not very far from Trump on immigration. She wouldn't be nearly as bad as Trump, we would have Justice Garland instead of Justice Gorsuch. That's what I'm confident of. This past mid-term, however, would have been an absolute blood-bath if the Democrats had to carry the anchor that is HRC and having one of her lackeys running the DNC. Probably the Democrats lose Montana, Nevada, and Arizona in the Senate at least. Probably John Kasich is the front-runner to challenge Clinton in 2020, as his Never-Trump stance would have been vindicated politically, but he's not much better than Trump on anything but tone.
Regardless of what happens with the presidency, Republicans near veto-proof majorities and have an Article V Constitutional Convention in their back pocket.

Yeah, it's tied to control of holy sites. There are two ways to do it: one way only requires 3 of the 5 holy sites, but also requires the faith to have a Moral Authority of 50, which might not be feasible. The second way requires control of all holy sites but doesn't have an MA requirement. Both ways also require 750 piety.

There are other ways to get Moral Authority, of course: raiding infidel temples, successful county conquests, paragons of virtue, building temples, certain festivals and successful county conversions all increase it slightly. You can now also build a "Great Pillar" for a cool 5% MA. Conversion rate is affected greatly by the moral authority of the religions involved, but unreformed religions are penalized, as noted.

Speaking of reforming, I'm using a mod that lets you pick 3 doctrines instead of the two, and I did successfully reform Romuva. Unyielding/Defenders of Dievas/Astrology/Stable. I don't really power-game, but the Kingdom of Lithuania will be well-insulated from threats, from within and without.
A note on natures: I've read that they made a mistake insofar as the chances the AI will attempt to convert a county. Only Unyielding and Proselytizing have proper weights: the rest have none, meaning the AI will basically never try to convert anything if you select other Natures. It does sound like they have a bug-fixing patch in the oven though, so hopefully it's fixed soon.

Ambitious and (to a lesser extent) Envious and Proud are bad traits for vassals. Content and Humble make them significantly less troublesome. If you want to, you can try and game it a bit by offering to educate your vassal's heir(s).

I'm personally fooling around trying to reform a faith. Germanic seems to reform ~90% of the time in the 769 and 867 starts, so I figured I would try my hand with Romuva. I already have 3 holy sites, but moral authority is exactly that high(once you get big, you're basically the only Romuva ruler), so I'm going for a fourth and then scrounging up the last 10 authority. Definitely doing Temporal Power, and not even just power-gaming: I'm the only independent Romuva realm, so it doesn't make sense for their to be another power-base.

Also, good luck if you want to reform Suomenusko or Slavic. The holy sites are scattered everywhere, and the former is on the chopping block from the Germanic blobs. The latter is super-vulnerable to early conversions and getting overrun by hordes.
Still better than Tengri though.

In any case, there aren't a lot of animals that make a living purely from scavenging. Even hyenas, the stereotypical lazy scavenger, do a lot of hunting. T-Rex would undoubtedly have done both, the only question seems to be how much it did one vs. the other.

What issues is Pelosi notably more liberal on?
