TopicJustin Trudeau SLAMS Joe Biden for saying it's SAFE to have LARGE GATHERINGS!!!
DragonClaw01

All signs point to it being incredibly weak. There has only been one reported death in the US from Omnicron (from an unvaccinated person I might add) & only a handful around the world. The symptoms are much closer to a common cold (tiredness, cough, fatigue, ect) than the traditional covid and in places that have had massive outbreaks of the strain, such as South Africa have seen a significant decrease in hospitalizations to reported Covid infections. If anything, the strain is so weak it is distorting the data from more deadly strains by making the Covid death rate drop through the floor. Not saying you can't get unlucky and die from it, but nothing that is worth shutting down people's lives for.

Eh, different countries different rules. There is no way Biden could ever lock people down for the virus anyways. It was unpopular even during the OG corona, but people were willing to roll with it for a short amount of time, now no one cares, especially with Omicron strain being pretty weak.

I actually was not spoiled on the ending, but it was pretty obvious that Bruce Willis was dead based off the structure of the movie to me. I have had actually seen similar plotlines before in TV shows before then. I still enjoyed the movie though, since it is entertaining on its own and didn't really rely on plot twists to keep it interesting.

More often than not, since I am usually late to the game on most media franchises. Although, the few times I was actually were ahead were pretty fun. I remember reading all the Game of Thrones books in high school before the show was released and it was exciting reading peoples reactions to things as they came along. I was like if you think this is insane, just wait my friends. But, the show eventually passed the book and I didn't know jack crap was going on, outside of the show ending horribly, so probably missed a bullet by not watching that.

And as #32 said, it could take place pretty much anytime of the year without affecting the plot. You pretty much spend the majority of the movie in an office building anyways.

The problem is they present it sort of like the difference between "hero" and "badass", but because they were still coming off of KotOR with the Light Side/Dark Side dynamic, about half the Renegade choices just sort of come across like "Be an asshole".

Alpha Protocol does it better, where your options are basically to be professional, sarcastic, or aggressive. Or as they put it, you're choosing whether you're Jason Bourne, James Bond, or Jack Bauer. It's not really "good" or "evil", or even "nice"/"dick", as much as it is how you view missions and the best methodology for engaging. Of course, in Alpha Protocol, you're kind of a dick no matter what options you pick - there really isn't a "good guy" option.
That is the issue with most video games. You either are a goody two shoes helping out every stray beggar with thier problems or you are burning down the orphanages while twirling your mustache. Not too much middle ground.

It is pretty insane, given that Gaige chased (and might have been one of the initial instigators), assaulted, and then tried to murder Rittenhouse. At a minimum, he should have been charged with attempted false imprisonment or one of the dozen things the accomplices in the Aubery case got charged with.
Plus he is a felon that is not even allowed to have guns to begin with. That is a felony right there. Although I am sure he will eventually be charged, just when things cool down.
