cardio kills your gains though, and thats a lot of cardio. youre never gonna get a rocking little hardbody that way. you'll be stuck at "skinnyfat" forever!

turn that bike ride into a shorter distance bike sprint and spend more time lifting or doing bodyweight exercises

if you don't have room for actual weights, get a pullup bar as a temporary substitute

Cardio is simply better for you though.

I feel like I am the only dude that actually likes cardio. For most it is usually the chore after lifting that don't want to do, but for me it is my main thing.

A limited amount of cardio is good for you.

What you are describing is too much cardio.

you dont need to be.

some cardio is good.

too much cardio slows down fat loss and muscle gain, fucks up your metabolism, and does irreparable damage to your heart and joints.

and plenty of people get too much cardio. and then they wonder why they cant stop being skinnyfat so they get MORE cardio and get even MORE skinnyfat and the cycle just continues until someone slaps them and tells them to slow the fuck down and lift some weights

I loathed biking back when I was younger and in peak shape. Given the choice, I would have walked/jogged/run 100% of the time rather than biking.

I pretty much stopped biking entirely once I got a car, because I could never conceive of any possible situation where I'd rather be biking than driving. In spite of the fact that I would literally drive to the local state park and then go hiking for an hour or two a couple times a week.

Biking outdoors is generally pretty light cardio, even on that scale. The cardio really only comes on significant uphill stretches, and those usually aren't going to be very long and will be punctuated by downhills that take very little effort. Level ground is very low-resistance unless you've got a massive headwind or are in a really low gear and just end up spinning your pedals unnecessarily.
