If a healthy person that did cardio regularly switched to only doing cardio through swimming their heart would weaken. No longer having to work against gravity during the cardio causes the heart to weaken. Of course if you are going from no cardio to swimming you'll see improvements, this is for those that are already in shape. --- Metroids Suck |

Has benefits to the immune system. It is also decreased during a nutrient rich environment and increased during a nutrient low environment. So they supposed that by fasting you would increase autopaghy and therefore better equip yourself to fight off an infection such as covid. There was also a mention of reducing inflammation by fasting as well, which can help immune response. However, it seems there is no experimental trial done to confirm or deny it would help against covid ( they specifically say covid but i did not see experiments referenced for general infection either) It also says it is strongly advised not to do IF if you already have covid. Is this right? I dont understand most of the biochemical terms. --- Metroids Suck |

Never once has something even remotely come up like this. And I dont know what mistake you are making since apparently she isnt the only person you dont talk to. Ill acknowledge it as a problem that I have. I think others may also have it, which is why I brought it up. I noticed a behaviour I wasnt aware of and I am course correcting and want others to do the same. I did not really experience this problem in the past on majority female teams so that is a good point. Also, I definitely dont think Id ever get accused of something, It is more their opinion towards me. And Im not worried about racism, I dont think that situation is the same. One of the team members I dont know as well because she is fairly new to the team. So I havent met with her specifically nor do I talk to her as much. I generally dont because I dont want to make her uncomfortable or have her think Im a creep. Which I wouldnt do if she were a guy. It doesnt help she is quiet, I had a much better working relationship with the person she replaced who was also a woman but very vocal. Not that this working relationship is bad its just not the same. Whelp, time to schedule. Anyone else have experience like this? --- Metroids Suck |

Basically eating at 9/12/3/6/9 with 3 and 9 being snacks. There was a lot more to it than just the times but the times are the most relevant here. What makes IF better than something like that? Or are they the same? The reason I thought IF might be good is eating whatever I wanted for one meal sounded easy, cheap, simple to folliw and enabling a high caloric deficit. An actual IF diet incorporates the same number of calories as a normal day of eating, just condensed into 8 hours instead of spread out over the day. Without knowing your current height/weight/activity level and your target weight, I can't tell you exactly what your caloric target should be, but I can guarantee it's a lot more than 1000. At only 1000, you'll be starving yourself, which will interfere with attempted weight loss and put you in actual danger. Isnt starvation mode a myth? How does this work with exercising?
