well, I just mean that if loot boxes are bad, then so are trading card packs. or, at least I'd like to hear a solid argument as to why they're not the same thing.

They are bad as well but they were not as accessible as in-game lootboxes which is why they haven't recieved the same attention lootboxes recieve today.

At least for me, buying a pack of pokemon cards meant getting someone to take me to the store to buy them and them actually having to acknowledge how many they are buying for me.

But with online lootboxes there are no such limitations.

I guess I underestimated the amount the i7 raises the price but you can probably get a similar laptop that is new for ~500.

I expect a lot of savings if I'm buying a used computer. The life expectancy is significantly reduced and you don't know what the previous user did with it.

That was probably about ~5-6 years ago. The weight bench turned into a pantry not too long after, relegated to sitting next to the wall.

I've moved since then and the home gym has expanded to include an elliptical and rowing machine, but I use those probably about as much as I used the weight bench when it was a pantry, if that says anything.

But things are going well. I've got a career I enjoy, which pays enough to afford my mortgage, and a wife that I enjoy being around, so I can't complain too much.

The worst in my opinion is the main kids chaperone in jurassic world. She does nothing wrong and ends up getting picked up and dropped by a pterosaur several times then eaten by the gigantic underwater dinosaur. Its the most gruesome death in the film and its totally undeserved.

I own a Vive

Its extremely fun when its done right, but I'd say the support isn't quite there yet and its too expensive to bring a lot of people to the platform.

When it becomes more affordable to a mainstream audience and easier to use it will be very popular.

I also tried a version where you put on headsets and walked around a warehouse in a shooting simulator and that was extremely immersive and fun.

I should also mentioned that it gets used for non-gaming purposes as well and I believe that field will help as well.

But either parent would have. The father said she wouldnt let them take the kids away. If the kids wanted to go, he would have taken her to court. We cant say that for sure. But based on what he said, he most likely would have.

So you're giving her a pass because the husband might have done the same thing? With the only evidence of that being a quote from the mother's side of the story?

Im giving her a pass because I dont think shes an asshole. Not because of the dad.

Her wanting to be with her children and have them move with her is completely fine and valid and honestly it would make her a bad parent if that wasn't the case. But she should respect their wishes.

I can see electricity. I don't mean electricity as in lightning and sparks but the actual electrical current going across a wire.

I didn't realize this was even a talent until I got to grade school. It was 2nd grade science class and we were doing a circuitry experiment (I was very advanced for my age). The teacher asked us a question about how to tell if electricity was flowing through a wire without something like a lightbulb indicating that the wire was active. I thought it was an easy question, it was obviously whether or not the wire was glowing blue (electricity is blue btw, in case you were wondering). When I said that everyone looked at me like I was saying something crazy, then the teacher moved on and showed us how we could see it using a compass. It was the first time I noticed that other people couldn't view it like that.

Over the years I learned more and more about my gift and eventually went into electrical engineering in college. My gift made it very easy for me to understand electrical energy and I graduate Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0. I now have a prestigious position at one of the top electrical companies in the world (I'll let you guess which, but I'm sure you already know.)
