Ultimately the progression doesn't matter because I will definitely play it again in the future. They're not games that I beat and shelve forever. I will come back to them almost endlessly, so one bad run (or 100 bad runs) doesn't matter. Loki is also the father of Jormungandr, Hel, and Fenrir. So on and so forth. There's tons of mythology they completely fucked up by making Atreus into Loki. Like there was a lot they changed or just completely ignored throughout the game but the ass-pull at the end just ruined the entire thing for me.
