Probably Ico. I spent like 3 years looking for the game, eventually found it in a Sears bargain bin of all things. It then spent a year in the glove compartment of my car, and another 6 months on my shelf before I finally opened it and played it. Then I found out the game is basically only 4 hours long and has 0 replay value. If I had just left it unopened, I could have sold it for upwards of 90 dollars, now it isn't even worth 10 because I was curious enough to open it and play it.

And if you read further into the article, it basically says that only 1% of the population have celiac disease. Whereas 20X that many people believe they have a gluten intolerance. The rest are basically just victims of a placebo effect.

I knew about that because I still had a Nintendo Power subscription when that game came out, and they told me that I could find a 1up there.

I don't think I ever actually bothered with it though, as 1ups are useless in that game.

Basically what I got from that is that the US isn't so much "getting fatter", it is that the "middle ground" is essentially going away. Which I kind of agree with. It seems like if you are a little bit overweight, you either think "Gee, I should do something about that" or "Fuck it, hand me that meat mountain!"

How? I am 34 years old and never once have I needed to swim. Hell, my father is 64 years old and never once needed to swim. My GRANDFATHER is 91 years old and has survived his whole life without needing to swim.

As long as I don't put myself in situations where I would need to it doesn't matter. The only time it would is when you are a kid and need to do it for PE class, but I never had to worry about it.

Lots of people learn English as a second language. It is not only the 3rd most spoken language in the world, but also the most widespread. Chinese (the first) is limited to China and a few neighboring countries while Spanish is mostly in South America and Spain. English is literally all over the place.

One of my good friends from High School died at 29 in a car accident. He was coming back from the bar so people originally thought drunk driving, but according to toxicological reports he was actually sober. Therefore they assumed he fell asleep at the wheel since the accident was at 4 in the morning.

Knew a girl (we fooled around a bit, nothing serious) who died at 25. She apparently exercised herself to death. One of her last Facebook posts was bragging that she managed to burn 2000 calories on the treadmill in one day. She was supposedly doing that almost every day while being anorexic.

One of my LAN buddies drown in a riptide. He was in his 40's though.
