not necessarily.
ohms (resistance), size of the speaker, and size/weight of the magnet can all drastically affect the sound. even ceramic vs alnico can make a difference.
at least with guitar amps, wattage doesn't really mean much outside of "this is how much wiggle room you can expect to have before things start breaking up" but even then it's more of a generalized rule rather than "more watts = more louder"

Also, wattage is logarithmic. 100w is not "twice as loud as 50w".

Your friend is smoking crack if they think you can't tell the difference between TV speakers and even a cheap soundbar. Just by virtue of physical dimensions, TV speakers will always have limited range for bass frequencies.

But 'wattage' and 'quality' are not synonomous. Higher wattage just means louder, not better sound. That only comes with, sadly, more expensive rigs.

majority of earbuds these days have them pushed into the ear canal to create a seal that functions as creating noise isolation and bass

And many come with a couple different 'cups' to use, for people with different size ear canals.

I'm just so disappointed with humanity. We've had thousands of years to get our act together but we still feel the need to kill each other. Imagine the utopia we could be living in if everyone was a decent person.

Personally, I don't think there's ever going to be real peace in the Middle East unless it's the peace of the grave. Too many groups which consider each other sworn enemies lay claim to to small an area of land.

I did always wonder though... the scandal was w/ the company and the imposters using other peoples' music, so.... why did the band just die instead of the actual singers getting to continue w/ the popularity and success their music had garnered? People obviously liked their music, why didn't they get to become big name artists after the truth came out?

The producer (Frank Farian, a first-class asshole) had specifically selected Rob and Fab as the public face of the singers because he didn't think they were photogenic enough to be pop stars. After the whole thing blew up, he washed his hands of it and let the project die. And in that era, it would have been very difficult to find information/photos of some random studio singers.

Her limitations stem more from the direct contact her bending requires. Any fight or situation where she literally cant feel the earth puts her at an immense disadvantage, with the airship fights, and Combustion Man in particular where he was far enough away she couldnt sense him, completely neutering her ability to do anything. Toph is either insanely strong, or completely vulnerable, no real in-between.

I liked how the show demonstrated the difference between benders who work with physical matter (water/ice/blood, earth/stone/metal) and insubstantial substances (air, fire/lightning): an Airbender, for all practical purposes, always has access to their element; likewise, Firebenders can generate flame with their breath. But if you put Waterbenders or Earthbenders in places where they have no access to their element (plopping Toph on a boat in the middle of a lake, or Katara in a desert) they're almost useless.

That part is partially false. She's immune to being deceived by an honest person. They blatantly showed that Azula was able to lie to her because of her sociopathy.

Eugenics never went away, it just switched from active (sterilization, forced breeding) to passive (picking doctors or scientists as sperm donors).

Suddenly going from Earth being the most important thing in the universe to being a not-even-mentionworthy speck near the sun is pretty intense.

Like, it's not even just that Earth isn't the center, but, that its mass is 0.0003% of the sun's. Jupiter could fall into the sun and the sun wouldn't notice, but also the Earth could fall into Jupiter and Jupiter wouldn't notice.

Like some people living in the Jovian equivalent of Russia would be like what the hell was that and upload their dashcams to Jupetube and notice that their windows broke, but everyone elee would be like "huh wow interesting" but still go to work.

At least it led to some of the most badass last words ever from Giordano Bruno: "Maiori forsan cum timore sententiam in me fertis quam ego accipiam." ("Perhaps you pronounce this sentence against me with greater fear than I receive it")
