Ok...Some people didn't have a Sega Saturn and there wasn't some outrage about the Dreamcast not playing Saturn games....Backwards compatibility was at first just something that was seen as an added bonus...now its an expectation and I really don't understand why.

People want everything in one simple package when things typically don't work like that, at least not without paying for it. If it were backwards compatible it would cost much more than it does now and people would be bitching about that instead ala PS3
