The powers that talk the most shit, talk shit unprovoked, drop slurs in chat, etc. are PlayStation players. Clearly every fan base base these type of people but PlayStation seems to be the worst by a landslide.
In crossplay games, I often check to see what platform someone is on when they say some toxic shit and it feels like its 80% PlayStation players. Maybe its because all the CoD players migrated over to PlayStation back when the exclusivity changed after the 360 era. Since CoD sucks now, those players probably switched games so they are everywhere in other multiplayer games. Thatcus my experience anyway. | DepreceV2 03/19/24 3:52:59 PM #1 | So they are actually consistently making great changes to the game lately. All heroes will be free starting in season 10 which is in mid April I think. This includes all previous heroes. Apparently the premium currency will be in both the free and paid track of the battle pass. They are adding new maps, new game modes and reworking some of the bad current maps. All the old Mythic skins will that appeared in the older battle passes will be available in the shop to purchase individually next season as well.
They are also balancing the game quickly and are willing to try out of the box new things to make the game better. They are currently testing in game a QP mode that removes hero limits in each role so you can double up on each hero. They are looking for feedback and there is a strong chance they dont go with this if the feedback is poor. I know people have written off Overwatch since OW2 came out but they are genuinely trying to fix the game. The current development team is trying to fix the mess the previous development team dumped into their lap with the shit show launch of OW2. If you have any interest in the game, I suggest just keeping an eye on it. However, there is a point where if the fear mongering is pushed too far, people will lose hope and not vote. We dont want that. Especially when Trump is actually at a significant disadvantage.
The only thing I hear that gives Trump any positives in the election is the poll data. I personally dont trust it for many reasons, one being the actual results compared to the polls in other elections. Outside of that? There is nothing else positive. Fundraising? Court cases? Support in the primaries? Lack of independent voters? Many Republicans publicly not endorsing him including his own VP? The results of any competitive Congress seat race being lost to the Democrats? So many things are going against him. Regardless of all of that WE NEED TO VOTE. Im OK with fear mongering. Just dont push too hard. | DepreceV2 03/04/24 2:22:45 AM #1 | Im not crazy into the political space but I tend to quietly observe. There is a lot of talk that Trump has an advantage going into the 2024 election. I dont understand why. I think the only thing Ive seen referenced are polling numbers which I personally dont think are as accurate as they use to be. Im assuming younger people dont really participate in the polls because they dont respond to them in the first place. There is so much spam now a days that many people just block everything unknown.
Even if the polls are as accurate as your typical poll, I just look at the results around the country and think those results matter more than poll numbers. Republicans are losing seats left and right, especially in battle ground states. Biden is dominating in the primaries like expected even with the protest vote in Michigan. Going in, Trump was expected to dominate like Biden did. Especially being a former president. That isnt really happening though. In fact, Haley just won in DC. Trump has been consistently taking far worse loses than Biden has. Trump also seems to be struggling with the independents which he MUST grab to win. This doesnt include all the cases that are going on and the ones that havent started yet. Not to mention the Republican Party in general is a shit show that cant even accomplish easy objectives for them. Like I said, Im not some political expert. Not by a long shot. Even so, Im just looking around and I dont see how Biden is behind.
