Found a pic of him. Seeing if anyone around Ruston, LA recognized him. He and some other family members would sell fireworks down there in December. He would dress as Santa for the kids and apparently it was a hit. I know I'm probably drawing this thread out longer than it needs to be. Just my way of processing I guess.

I'm so sorry to hear that, TC. That has to be rough on you and especially your mom. I can't imagine how awful it would be to see a loved one end his life like that in front of you. I know I'd probably need therapy and I hope you guys can get it too if the grief is too much. No shame in it.

Definitely no shame in it. Same for those of you considering this way out. Get help. No one will think less of you. Don't put your family through this kind of grief. He wanted cremated and we're having a memorial service for him on December 7th. Then that next week we'll lay his ashes to rest in the Missouri veterans cemetery in Springfield.

I went to visit her tonight. She pretty much ran herself til exhaustion took over. She couldn't wind down. Stayed til she started her bedtime routine. Getting her CPAP ready etc.

why wouldn't i be? according to TC, he had suffered from multiple physical ailments. that can be taxing on a person. you don't have to have mental issues for something like that to get to where it is too much to deal with.

I don't know all the details either. Don't want to push it. Still too raw and fresh to push any further than it happened and how it happened.

I'll admit I've thought of it a few times myself. When I'm not working I take care of my bed bound wife and it's taken a toll on my mind and body and health. Lately the depression has gotten to be real heavy on me. At the same time if I did she'd get carted off to a nursing home and my son raised by family or put in the foster system. I have a close friend who helps me during these times because she understands the feeling. I don't want to be the ever lasting trauma in my kid's life. Especially given the fact he would be the one to find me. Not doing it.

Don't know why. He just did it. grabbed grandpa's gun and shot himself in front of my mom at her house. It's been really hard to process for the whole family. We knew he's had health problems like a heart attack, stroke, emphysema. If there was anything else he kept it to himself. He was never married and never had any kids so there's that I guess. Either way this sucks. Dude was always a part of my life growing up and now he's gone.

What I found hilarious was going back to 1 after playing the shit out of 2 and seeing they didn't clean up the wonky mouth movements when they talked. Seeing Sonic's mouth jump all over the place while speaking had me on the floor.

Read the original novelizations. Do some research homie. The grand moff on death star 2 was named jerjerrod but it's never spoken in the movies. He's the one Palpatine tells to fire the super laser.

Seriously I read the novelizations back in 96. He's referred to as Palpatine. Also in the star wars card game and other companion books. I think there was a book "the essential guide to star wars characters" that came out loooong before the prequels that called him Palpatine.
