Highlander was awesome. In the pre-internet days I remember my dad and I reading the tv guide and getting up at like 2am to watch reruns of episodes we hadn't seen yet. I still think of the show every time I hear that "Dust in the Wind" song, they always played that with a montage whenever a regular character died.
Duncan was a sanctimonious bastard, but the show threw it in his face sometimes so it was ok. The 4 Horseman mini-arc was the best, but there were tons of other good episodes. The lead singer of The Who was pretty good, too, Hugh Fitzcairn. Methos, too. The sword fights got pretty damned good past the first season, too. --- All generalizations are false, including this one. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Duncan might have come off that way I guess, but always he tried to do the right thing, even when his unique circumstances made that almost impossible. Theres a few good ones in the first two seasons, but seasons 3-5 is the good shit, especially season 3. Almost every episode that entire season is gold. The Kalas arc was the defining era of the show...a good arc by itself, and introduced and laid groundwork for lots of stuff beyond. Fitzcairn and Methos were both introduced during it and Amanda got alot of good stuff. Peter Wingfield was perfect as Methos. Loved Highlander.... ... Copied to Clipboard!
