Almost like a dimensional tear that they creep through at high speeds that we're unable to see. "A top-down Zelda meets vertical corridor shmup" is a decent enough summary, but Guardian Legend had this sort of mystique about it. The story was told through these logs left behind by some mysterious predecessor. The game was brutal hard but compelling enough that I wanted to persevere. It was unlike anything I had played at the time. I dunno... just always had a soft spot for the game. As far as mixed genre games go, Guardian Legend hit a lot of the right notes. Haven't played it in years so I'm not sure how it has aged, but if they announced a reboot or sequel I'd be all over it. I think being mixed makes them unique, something we remember. So it pops up when we request games to revive because there's nothing like it. After many tries I did eventually beat both. I know BM got a sequel or two so it's off my list. Sorta, you still have to hope nobody chose that character before you, and possibly deal with people bitching about your choice. 6 Bastions, did they cut the 'limit one per character'? I say so what if they want 6 of a kind. If someone doesn't like it, back out to a different match. I mixed it up a little to get trophies but was primarily Pharah. Played a bit like Quake 3 by spamming rockets and flying around. Actually one time was kinda funny, there was a line and they were waiting. I got antsy and wandered away to play Time Crisis 2. It's why I don't care one bit about impeachment or anything related to it. Because I firmly believe that the majority of the media now has TDS as does the majority of the democratic party so anything they say and do will be influenced by it. If Trump said he liked vodka they'd claim it's proof of him being a Russian asset and demand impeachment. This is often accompanied by extreme political tribalism. If a photo emerged of Hilary/Biden/Bernie/whoever else not only having sex with Putin, but Putin sent a love letter to them and they started speaking Russian they'd oppose impeachment simply because.
